Caron Butler was out, Antawn Jamison was hurting and the lowly Washington Wizards were still able to beat the Houston Rockets on Monday night. Jamison scored a season-high 30 points, Andray Blatche added 16 points and eight rebounds and the Wizards snapped a five-game road losing streak with an 89-87 victory.

Wizards forward Andray Blatche was arrested Wednesday in south-central Virginia on charges of reckless driving and driving on a suspended license for the 3rd time, authorities said. Blatche, who is entering his 4th season with the Wizards and signed a 5 year contract worth around $15 million last summer, was clocked going 86mph in a 70mph zone on Interstate 85, mentioned Brunswick County 1st Sgt. Dwyane Jones.

Andray Blatche reached his career high at the 1st half buzzer, holding both hands aloft long after he swished his baseline 3 pointer. Gilbert Arenas, cheering in street clothes on the bench, must were happy and jealous at the same time.

Gilbert Arenas mentioned there is no doubt in his mind that the Wiz will soon sign restricted free agent Andray Blatche. "Oh he will be here. He has to. We will be killing' him all year".

Forward Andray Blatche re-signed with the Wizards Friday, as Washington opted to keep the restricted free agent inspite of his recent run in with the law. Blatche signed a multiyear deal. Its completion was delayed due to his arrest on August 2nd on sexual solicitation charges.
