The Houston Rockets didn't feel much like winners after grinding out a four-point home victory on Wednesday. They were surefire losers in Toronto on Friday night. Chris Bosh and Andrea Bargnani each scored 19 points and the Raptors snapped a three-game losing streak with an emphatic 94-73 victory over the Rockets, handing Houston its fourth defeat in six games.

Dwyane Wade did something the NBA had not seen in more than 31 years. It still was not enough to take down the sharpshooting Toronto Raptors. Andrea Bargnani scored a season high 25 points, Jermaine O'Neal added 16 points and 17 rebounds, and the Raptors were 8 for 8 on 3 pointers in the 2nd half to overcome Wade's huge effort and beat the Heat 101-95 on Wednesday night.

The Toronto Raptors exercised the 4th year option Monday on forward Andrea Bargnani, the 1st overall pick in the 2006 draft. Financial terms were not disclosed. The Raptors had until Friday to exercise their option on the 23 year old. Bargnani, who is from Italy, was the 1st European born player to be selected with the top pick in the draft.

In a season of misery, the Heat set a new low. Andrea Bargnani and Anthony Parker each scored 14 points and the Toronto Raptors held Miami to the 3rd-lowest point total in the shot-clock era, triumphing over the Heat 96-54 Wednesday.

Just when the Heat thought they in the end hit rock bottom, along came more indignity. Chris Bosh scored 24 points, Andrea Bargnani added 22 and the Toronto Raptors handed the hapless Heat their largest loss of the season Monday night, a 114-82 debacle that was never a contest.

The Toronto Raptors did not must wait long for another shot at Washington, and they certainly had taken advantage of it. Andrea Bargnani scored 19 points, Chris Bosh had 16 and Toronto used a big 2nd quarter and a flurry of 3 pointers to beat the Wizards 122-83 Wednesday. The 39 point margin of win matched the largest in team history, a 112-73 triumph over Atlanta on April 12, 2002.

The Raptors are thinking about bringing in some extra coaching help for struggling center Andrea Bargnani, who has not shown any signs that he is ready to break out of a sophomore slump. GM Bryan Colangelo mentioned that the Raptors have discussed the idea of bringing in a coach to specifically help Bargnani get used to, and learn the nuances of, playing the center position.

Toronto forward Andrea Bargnani practiced Monday for the 1st time in more than a week and expects to play when the Raptors face the Atlanta Hawks Tuesday. If Bargnani plays, it will be the 1st time Toronto has had its trio of players, Bargnani, T.J. Ford and Chris Bosh, together in the lineup since November.

With LeBron James and Chris Bosh out nursing injuries, Andrea Bargnani and Carlos Delfino did their best to fill the stars' void. Bargnani and Delfino set career highs with 26 and 24 points each, and the Toronto Raptors won their 3rd straight with a 91-82 triumph over the Cavaliers.

Payback was sweet for the Toronto Raptors. Andrea Bargnani scored 21 points Friday night to lead Toronto to a 106-69 win over New Jersey in the 1st meeting between the teams since the Nets removed the Raptors in the opening round of last season's playoffs.
