After a costly call in an overtime loss, things turned around in a hurry for the Chicago Bulls in another extra period. Derrick Rose converted a decisive three-point play in overtime, and Ben Gordon made a four-point play with 20.5 seconds left in regulation in the Bulls' 115-109 victory over the Los Angeles Clippers on Wednesday night.

Ben Gordon issued a warning to the rest of the NBA after teammate Derrick Rose showed off a dizzying array of moves on Friday night, the talented rookie is only going to get better. Rose had 18 points and 6 assists and Gordon scored 23 in the Chicago Bulls' 100-83 win over the Suns. "Watching him in practice, you can tell right away how special of a skill he is", Gordon said.

Ben Gordon scored 23 points, including 2 free throws with 10 seconds left, to lift the Chicago Bulls to a 108-105 preseason win over the Jazz Friday. Andres Nocioni added 20 points and Tyrus Thomas had 16 points and 12 rebounds for Chicago in the game played at the Assembly Hall on the University of Illinois campus.

Ben Gordon's salary does not match the 6 year, roughly $58 million deal the Bulls offered throughout the off season before in the end pulling it earlier this week after Gordon's camp discarded it for the final time. Last-minute, face to face negotiations Wednesday yielded nothing.

Chicago guard Ben Gordon had taken the Bulls' one year, $6.4 million tender offer only before the deadline Wednesday night. A restricted free agent, Gordon was looking for a long term deal that never materialized. He led the Bulls in scoring last season with an 18.6 average.

Ben Gordon's contract status remained unsettled and the 5th year guard and the Chicago Bulls are both hoping for a resolution by midweek. Gordon was on hand for the team's media day Monday, the day before training camp opens, however mentioned he will not practice until after Wednesday's deadline to accept a one year qualifying offer.

After more than 2 months of negotiations, and more than a month after Luol Deng was re-signed, it does not appear the Bulls are any closer to reaching a deal with restricted free agent Ben Gordon than they were in July.
