Picks would need to be involved in some way, I'm just not sure how. Not a big fan of either of these three teams, but they each need something and could benefit from dealing with each other.

Miami trades: Mario Chalmers, Chris Anderson
Miami gets: Isaiah Canaan, Ricky Ledo
***This is a strict salary dump. Miami has been looking to move on from these two guys while shedding salary. After resigning some huge contracts this offseason, they need tax relief. This move sheds around $8M in salary which is much more in tax $.

Knicks trade: Jose Calderon, Cleanthony Early, Ricky Ledo
Knicks get: Mario Chalmers, Chris Anderson, Jerami Grant
***The Knicks are in an interesting spot. They spent their money this offseason not on a Robin for Carmelo but on solid role players. Their plan should be this: make a playoff push in the East to draw in interest as the cap spikes. In this move, they get Chalmers who can start at the point, but more importantly they upgrade the roster slightly to maybe make the playoffs. More importantly than that, they gain valuable cap space for next summer. This move is risky, sure. But it creates hope in my opinion.

Sixers trade: Isaiah Canaan, Jerami Grant
Sixers get: Jose Calderon, Cleanthony Early
***Right now Pierre Jackson is slated to start at the point. That's totally fine, but they could use an experienced hand to at least handle the second unit. Calderon would also help them reach the cap minimum if they haven't already reached it. Plus, Hinkie is a lover of draft picks, and as I stated earlier picks will be involved in the deal and here is where they would land.

Recap: Miami gets huge tax relief, Knicks add talent and cap room next summer, Sixers reach minimum and add a pick or two.

Any trade that involves the Sixers receiving Calderon without additional picks isn't going to happen. I wish you Knicks fans would stop trying to throw your trash down I95.

In this deal, Grant and Earley are arguably a wash. Calderon is a liability due to his contract. Canaan's contract has a remaining $2mil on it. Calderon has a remaining $14mil on it.

As for picks, neither the Knicks nor Miami have picks to offer. The Knicks owe their next pick to Denver/Toronto and Miami can't trade a 1st round pick until 2023. A player coming out in 2023 is now a 12 year old. What's that, a rising 6th grader?

Sixers don't want Calderon. He's a joke! Knicks are stuck there for sure.

Come on Sixers fan, you stole my logo.

I changed mine to the Old School logo back from the 70s.

No respect, no respect at all.
