Dec. 15 trade (FA signing trade restriction lifted)

Kings get: Markieff Morris, Suns 2016 2nd rd
Suns get: Taj Gibson
Bulls get: Kosta Koufos

Kings:
Rondo / Collison / Curry
McLemore / Belinelli / Anderson
Gay / Casspi / Butler
Morris / Acy / Dukan
Cousins / Cauley-Stein / FA

Bulls:
Rose / Brooks
Butler / Hinrich / Moore
Dunleavy / McDermott / Snell
Gasol / Mirotic / Portis / Bairstow
Noah / Koufos / Mohammed

Suns:
Knight / Price
Bledsoe / Booker / Goodwin
Tucker / Warren / Weems
Gibson / Teletovic / Leuer
Chandler / Len

Morris is an ideal fit for the Kings, and can move to a 6th man role if WCS develops. The Suns probably won't have to add a 2nd rounder by the time Dec. 15 comes around, but will still need to trade him before it becomes a mess.

The Bulls clear out a glut at the PF position, and have a reliable backup center to go to when they rest Noah. Koufos is also under contract longer than Gibson.

The Suns make the best out of a bad situation and establish a good defensive culture. Scoring is a couple deadline or offseason moves away - it is easy to get. Having the right veteran pieces to show young players how to win will keep the Suns from going into a downward spiral, and will attract free agents as well.

The Bulls and Kings in particular get much more clearly defined bench rotations as well.

Taj & Tyson would be a terrible front court pairing. Suns wouldn't pull that trigger. They can do better even considering the lack of leverage caused by the demanded trade.
