Bucks and Sixers.

Sixers trade Noel and lakers pick ( top three protected) assuming it doesn't convert this season

Bucks trade Parker.

I love Parker but his fit in Milwaukee is a little questionable. They have scorers in Monroe and Middleton and Giannis playing pg is working out great. Their problem is defense and more importantly rim protection. Monroe is just not a great defender. And unfortunately Parker is not a great defender either. He's a far better scorer then defender but On a team with plenty of scoring already he seems like a poor fit.

Noel would immediately add a top tier defender to a scoring roster which is exactly what that team need. Plus the get a future pick that is great value especially if la strikes out on free agency again.

Sixers get a big but I beleieve Parker can be a sf in This league. He adds height and scoring to team who needs that more then defense.

I like this trade fo Milwaukee
but isn't philly going to have the same problem.
Okafor and Parker could work offensively, but Okafor isn't much better in defence than Moroe.

Gasupo

I think Sixers will move Parker to sf. They would at least give it a try. Parker, Oakfor, and Embiid will be the starters.

It's a risk but assuming the Sixers are going for a bigger team, which they almost have to do with so many big men already, then adding a bigger sf might work out well. Parker would have to develope that outside shot though to be a star.

I like the idee, Parker playing for Philly, i'm just not a big Okafor fan. :-)
it could work, If embiid is healty.

I really like the trade. Have done it so many times on 2k haha. But my question is what happens with the draft pick the Sixers have? Its projected to be the number and if they get that or even the number 2 what happens then? Do you take Ingram and go really big and play him at the SG?

I'd take protection off the pick. Parker has a good bit more upside and value.

You can't take protection off pick unless lakers agree xxx.

Larry.

My ideal situation is Sixers getting Simmons and playing him at pg. it's a interesting concept, that originally I was against, but I think it will work over time. Teams are doing it already. Lebron is a pg for half the game. Giannis is proving is works.

Simmons is a pretty good passer and ball handler. Plus putting out a lineup that huge would be a match up nightmare for defenses. How is curry going to cover Simmons or Covington or Parker or Oakfor or Embiid? I feel like as long as Simmons can play pg decent Sixers would give team complete fits. On defense it will take a different philosophy then wat we normally run.

Either switch everything, or play a two three zone. We would have the lenght to contest while keeping the bigs down low. The height really helps as long as they are athletic enough which I think Parker and Simmons are.

Sixers wouldn't be great immediately as this would take time to get used to but over a year or so and that team could gel. I'd watch that group at least.

Ingram is my second choice and yes sg would be it for me. Use that match up on offense to take over games. Ingram reminds more of derozen then Durant. Derozen is a thin sf but at sg he's a handful.

Definitely makes a lot of sense with what you are saying and could totally see Simmons as a point guard and it would be matchup nightmares on offense. But the defense in my eyes would be a very glaring weakness. As you said Curry wouldn't be able t0oo guard any of them but who is going to guard Curry. And the thing with the zone is they would need to be very active and be able to get out to the 3 point line which might be hard for some bigs. But I could see it being a little successful, just need the right coach and right supporting role players on the bench.

But another weakness I might see is the shooting. Parker isn't that great a shooter and we all know about Simmons lack of a jump shot so that might be tough with the way the 3 ball has become so key to every possession.

Larry.

I see your points. As for curry I don't think anyone can stop him. We just have to confuse him a bit. And a two three is rarely scene. If nothing else we shut down the paint and give the defense a chance to be effective. I'm hoping the lenght of our team on defense effect teams shooting at the perimeter. Golden state is going to be really hard to beat regardless.

As for the Parker shooting I have to go back to his career in college. He was a nice shooter in college but the Bucks have asked him to be different. More of an interior player. He did shoot 26 percent last season with limited shot attempts. I think his future allstar status will hinge on him being a better shooter.

If I'm the bucks I only do this if it's 1 or 2.

For Simmons to be successful at PG, he'll need to develop his jumpshot (which I think he will) . Things I've read have said his form and mechanics are good, just not a good outside shooter. He's been so dominant at getting to the basket, I don't think he's had to work on his jumper yet.

Defenders can just sag off of him and pack the paint to prevent him from driving until he can shoot from outside. You would need to run an offense with a ton of motion to get the defense moving and switching to catch them out of position and send cutters to the basket. You would only be able to play one big inside or the lanes would be clogged up for drives and cuts to the basket.

Thrill house I know you love Parker but he's a poor fit there in bucks world. Just not really the best place for him. So asking a team to give up Ingram or Simmons play a nice defensive fit in Noel to get Parker is ridiculous. got to be more realistic of talent then that.

i just realized. if sixers did this trade and drafted ingram that's three duke guys all starting. so they would essentially have the last three best duke players on the aame roster. lol that's funny.

Parker and giannis when at lose last year developed stone good chemistry if I'm moving someone it's Monroe and get a rim protector to protect parker on d, he's also improved quite a bit defensively, and no one below the top 2 is not worth parker.

Thrill house

You can't move Monroe. You over paid for a tough fit. I have no idea wat the bucks were thinking in that deal to be honest. Why would anyone take on that contract for a none difference maker?
