Not nearly enough for Aldridge.

Confused why Spurs would trade LA for Okafor.

Can you just stop. No one will give the 3rd or 4th pick for Okafor and you will not get 3rd pick plus D. Green (solid sg) and N. Young.

Oak is 10 years younger than LA and would be great long term building block and would open up great amount of cap space (almost 40mil) . The spurs need to build around Kawhi not just retool.

They were second best team in the NBA this year. Their age showed in OKC series. I think a retool is all that is required with a influx of some younger guys. LA is 30 and relies more on skill than athleticism so should age well. Even if your going to trade him surely you can get more value for an all-star and player who made all-nba team. People here are saying Okafor is worth the 3rd pick in this years draft, I think Aldridge's value is higher than that.

If Okafor is a building block - why 76ers and their fans want a trade? From what I see in the posts Okafor is one of the best young 5 in NBA - why trade such a flawless player?

JKubacki: Sixer fans do not WANT to trade Okafor. But its clear that if they draft Simmons AND Saric comes over AND Embiid can play, someone has to go. Its most likely Okafor or Noel. So don't confuse WANT with the reality of the situation.

Two, being one the best young centers in the NBA does not mean he's flawless.

Third, I'm not sure why I even took 3 minutes of my time to respond to your obvious snark.

Lastly, the Spurs don't need to move LA. That's nuts. They have a mess of Euro's stashed away right now that can move into their lineup to build around LA.
