BRK- Amir Johnson, Kelly Olynyk, Marcus Smart, 2018 BRK 1st.
BOS- Brook Lopez

Brooklyn is not winning anytime soon. Brook Lopez has a lot of value and should be moved now. The Salaries match up and the Nets get their 2018 1st round pick back along with two young players. Johnson and Olynyk (option) are in the last year of their deals which allows BRK to clear more cap space to fill the team with talent.

Brooke to Boston makes a lot of sense. He would fit great with horford. Brooklyn could go into true rebuilding if they got one of their picks back. And it would give Boston on of the best big man duos in the NBA (if not the best) .

Daniel-that's my point. Make the trade as Boston to guarantee they are the worst team in the league and get brook.

Two starters, another rotation player and the possible first overall pick for a center with bad wheels? Really?
Ainge would probably do Olynyk and a non-Brooklyn No. 1, but not anything more.

I think if Danny was going to make the trade with Brooklyn I don't think he would want to give up 3 rotational players and a projected high pick for just Brook Lopez. It makes us a very weak team depth wise. The roster would be like this:

Thomas/ Rozier
Bradley/ Hunter
Crowder/ Brown
Horford/ Jerebko
Lopez/ Zeller?

That team isn't going to contend due to the lack of depth and shooting. I know that what we are giving up doesn't have much shooting besides Olynyk but it is depth at key big man positions and guard positions instead of playing 2 players that are second year players and hardly played last year. Need more experience from the back-up guards in my opinion, hence why Turner was such a huge lose for us.

Honestly you could condense the trade to just smart and the pick for Lopez. I assumed Johnson and olynyk were just throwins, they're not very high value guys, they pretty basic role players.

It leaves the Celtics with their depth, and gives the nets what they want; their pick back and a young prospect.
