I actually like this trade for all teams involved. Nice job Kn1ck3rb0ck3r!

Why in the world would the Wolves want Monroe?

Why would Miami be involved.
I would think the Bucks would rather have Rubio and Mohammed instead of an older Dragic. If the could do that for Monroe, they would.

Here come the Wolves fans overvaluing Rubio lol. Thinking he's a top 15, or dare I say it, a top 10 PG. you can't make this stuff up

So Bucks, explain to me how this trade helps Minnesota? They already have 8 bigs under contract, trading their starting PG and backup wing for another big is not overvaluing Rubio, it is recognizing Minnesota roster strengths and weaknesses.

It's not that bucks, it's that Rubio has better value than Monroe and Rubio is a bigger need than another big for minny. Rubio is an average starting PG in the NBA. Somewhere between top 12-18. Monroe is an average (at best) big as well. I'd put him in the same group as Kanter. He'd be better off the bench, he's not really a starting caliber PF. He doesn't really fit in the modern NBA.

The Wolves should play Rubio for one more year, unless they get a great return for him.
It's an interesting idea. Monroe+ Towns could work, but i wouldn't take the risk.

Okay, I'm not even going to go into the argument about Rubio's value. And I have never claimed he is top 10, I believe he is top 15 and that's all I'll say about that

But, Greg Monroe is worse than Gorgui Dieng, so this trade is essentially trading a starting PG and backup wing for a backup PF, which the Wolves already have 3 of.

So I ask again, why would the Wolves want Greg Monroe?
