76ers/ Twolves

Sixers get: LaVine, Pek

Twolves get: Noel, Henderson, Lakers #1 2017

Twolves get defensive help in Noel, vet leadership in Henderson, and a #1 pick likely in the 8-14 range. Sixers get the combo guard they desperately need.

I think Sixers will trade Okafur before Noel because Noel can play alongside Imbiid and I can't see Imbiid or Okafur playing PF and trying to guard stretch 4's like Noel can.

Dmagic, it's not about who fits better next to Embiid. Neither is a pf. Okafor is a better back up center in the long run IMO. The trade is about getting a combo guard like LaVine to pair with Simmons. Saric, ilyasova, or Holmes can fill in the pf position.

Noel or Okafor and with Lakers doing surprisingly well I don't think Twolves accept this deal. LaVine offers them much needed shooting, is a freak athlete, is still young and has 2 yrs left on his rookie deal. Peks contract isn't that bad and expires in two year before they'll have to begin resigning their young talent.

Also Twolves are actually deeper at the big positions (KAT, Dieng, Aldrich, Hill, Bjelica) than the wings so that drives LaVine's value up as well relative to Noel or Okafor who may be better than the options they have but especially next to KAT Dieng is more than serviceable and other guys aren't bad bench players.

Take pek out of the deal and take Henderson out of the deal. Then it could happen.

Lavine for Noel and lakers pick.
