Melo should've allowed Knicks to trade him much sooner as his value is down big time. He said he'd be willing to go to either LA teams or Cleveland. Even if Cleveland could get Melo without giving up Love not sure I like him going to Cleveland unless he is alright coming off the bench. This particular offer wouldn't work since Cavs would have basically no centers on their roster. Knicks would have to give the O'Quinn or something for it to work for them.

The return for the Knicks is pretty underwhelming especially having to take Deng's contract back.

I could see Lakers being interested in that offer. Thompson would give them a youngish center to add to their core, Shumpert could be a solid starting two guard. I don't see Rose being in Lakers long term plans but he is valuable as an expiring contract to dump Deng's contract.

The Lakers aren't going to give up Williams or Clarkson because their the Lakers best scorers. I would trade instead of them Ingram and Mozgov because your getting an MVP in Derrick Rose but if u trade Clarkson and Williams then it should be for an All Star PG like Lowry or Thomas
