If Cousins doesn’t seem ready to commit long term and NO is falling out of the playoff picture this move makes a lot of sense.

MIA gets : D. Cousins, E. Moore

NO gets : H. Whiteside, T. Johnson, lottery protected 1st.

NOLA stays competitive and keeps Anthony Davis happy at PF.

That's assuming Cousins resigns. I'm not sure how Miami is any more appealing than NOs.
