Memphis is not going to want the two years left on Smith's contract after this season unless it's getting a better 1st than the 2021, which the Cavs don't have. Osman and another asset would need to be included for Memphis to consider.

I traded Smith to sacramento and i think they would take Smith's contract for a future draft pick.
They can take bad contracts for a few years.
