Lbj got a team of he, Kevin love and some scrubs to the finals. Sexton is 6 foot and can't shoot. It's one of the reasons lbj may not be the perfect fit in Philly. Simmons can't shoot either. Irving shoots the lights out. It's why I think cavs chose sexton because they plan on lbj leaving. Not about the help he can provide lbj.

I wouldn't have drafted sexton if I thought lbj was going to be there. There were other guys like alexander that could have been more helpful. One of the bridges boys or even a defensive center. It's an odd move if lbj is in your plans.

Yes, I do think LBJ will walk away from $40M+ a year if he doesn’t want to be in Cleveland. He has left money on the table before, and makes so much of his money in endorsements that $6M a year won’t persuade him to stay in a place he doesn’t want to be.

Under your train of thought, Kawhi would want to stay with the Spurs, which also doesn’t look like it is going to happen.
