Twolves receive: Batum, Williams
Add some much needed shooting to their roster.

Hornets receive: Dieng, Gibson (exp), Jones
Clean up their future cap sheet, save money this year and get an interesting prospect in Jones

The Wolves should search for a cheaper shooter.
Charlotte should give two draft picks before the Wolves consider this.
And charlotte need those picks

So both teams say no.

Dieng's garbage contract is 2/ 3 the garbage contract of Batum, and Dieng produces 1/ 10 of what batum does on the court. Maybe a draft pick from charlotte, but not a good one and certainly not a 1st for Taj Gibson. Nene puts up equal #'s to Dieng for a fraction of the cost and better play.
