January 9 Hawks Raptors trade with Pascal committed to extension.

Raptors receive Murray and Hunter

Hawks acquire Siakam and Schroeder

Two starters for two starters. Atlanta would still need to find a shooter for Capella (maybe Hardaway?) and Toronto would need to add some bench youth for Ananoby (Matherin and Sheppard?) to balance rosters more fully. But ya got to start somewhere eh.

How does Pascal commit to an extension without signing, and why would he? And if he is extended you aren't getting him for that.

Yea I can see where standing pat with current roster as constructed and waiting for a team with cap space to take him in free agency is a far better option eh! Haha.
