Jeff Foster finished with 10 points and 9 rebounds, and T.J. Ford and Jarrett Jack each scored 10 for Indiana, which evened its preseason record at 2-2.

The Pacers traded 1st round draft pick Jerryd Bayless to the Portland Trail Blazers for No.13 pick Brandon Rush, Jarrett Jack and Josh McRoberts. Rush's agent, Mark Bartelstein, informed The Associated Press about the deal Thursday night, shortly after Portland picked Rush. Bayless was selected 11th overall.

A Heat official mentioned several teams have expressed an interest in Udonis Haslem if Miami drafts and keeps Michael Beasley, which remains a strong possibility. Haslem maybe swapped for a point guard, with Kirk Hinrich, T.J. Ford and Mo Williams in play, and less appealing names ( Jamaal Tinsley, Jarrett Jack, Kyle Lowery) also available.

The Portland Trail Blazers blew a lead of 14 or more points for the 3rd straight game. This time, they would not be denied a win. Jarrett Jack tied a season high with 21 points, scoring 13 of them in the 4th quarter and leading the Trail Blazers to an 82-80 win over the L.A Clippers Wednesday.

According to media reports, the Trail Blazers are shopping point guard Jarrett Jack, and the Grizzlies have taken offers for point guard Kyle Lowry. The Cavaliers have interest in both. A source mentioned they have had long term talks involving Jack.

When Jarrett Jack got pulled from the Portland Trail Blazers' starting lineup, he responded with zeal. Jack scored 20 points, 9 in the 4th quarter, and the Portland Trail Blazers earned their 1st win of the season by triumphing over the previously undefeated New Orleans Hornets 93-90 Wednesday.

Sources indicated that Blazers GM Kevin Pritchard has decided to keep center Joel Przybilla, wing Martell Webster and guard Sergio Rodriguez, and Pritchard mentioned he has not engaged in trade talks involving guard Jarrett Jack, leaving few options for trades.
