LaMarcus Aldridge had 24 points and 12 rebounds, Brandon Roy added 24 points and 9 assists and the Portland Trail Blazers beat the Timberwolves 97-93 on Saturday night to improve to 3-0 at home. Al Jefferson finished with 27 points after starting off 3 for 10 from the field for Minnesota in its 5th straight loss.

Travis Outlaw ponders his place with the Blazers' upswing. He has experienced enough success, last season hitting game winning shots at Memphis and Atlanta and finishing 9th in the 6th man of the year voting, that he thinks he would one day be an All Star. However, he wonders whether that possible will be stifled on a team built around Brandon Roy, LaMarcus Aldridge and Greg Oden.

LaMarcus Aldridge is becoming the offensive force that Portland coach Nate McMillan was envisioning all season. Aldridge had 22 points, 12 rebounds and a career high 7 assists, Brandon Roy added 21 points and 6 assists, and the Trail Blazers beat the L.A Clippers 107-102 Friday.

Brandon Roy and the Trail Blazers found a way to fix their 5 game losing streak, play the SuperSonics. Roy had 19 points and a career high 14 rebounds, LaMarcus Aldridge added 18 points, 12 rebounds and 5 blocks, and Portland finished its skid with a 92-88 triumph over Seattle Thursday.

With a tough road schedule at the end of the season, the Charlotte Bobcats knew they had to get off to a quick start. Through 10 games, they are in pretty good shape. Behind Gerald Wallace's 3rd straight game of 27 points and a stifling defense that shut down LaMarcus Aldridge, the Bobcats beat the Portland Trail Blazers 101-92 Monday.

The Trail Blazers' young, up and coming roster reportedly has become attractive to USA Basketball. According to independent sources, Portland forwards Channing Frye and LaMarcus Aldridge have had taken invitations to play on a select team that will practice and scrimmage with the national team later this month.
