Rookie O.J. Mayo did all he could to rally Memphis in the 4th quarter against the Suns. Unfortunately, the Grizzlies had no answer for Leandro Barbosa. Mayo had 19 of his game high 33 points in the final period, but the win went to the 5th year veteran known as the Brazilian Blur and Phoenix as the Suns won 107-102 on Monday night.

When the 3 pointers start falling for Phoenix, it is bad news for the opposition. Leandro Barbosa scored 30 points and Raja Bell added 24, including a season high 7 3 pointers, to help the Suns stay unbeaten against Charlotte with a 118-104 win over the Bobcats.

Since the season ended, any Suns deal figured to include Leandro Barbosa or Boris Diaw. Consideration for such moves has accelerated and cooled in recent weeks however remains a possibility with Phoenix looking to move up in Thursday's draft order or acquire another 1st round pick to go with its No.15 selection.

Barbosa scored 25 points, that included 5 of 7 on 3s, Hill added 24 points and Phoenix pulled away to win its 4th in a row, 112-102 over the Chicago Bulls Thursday.

When Kobe Bryant shut down Brazil's Leandro Barbosa in Las Vegas during the Olympic qualifying tournament, Phil Jackson's Internet mailbox overflowed. "I got more e-mails after that game than I would respond to", he said. "If you can get Kobe to play defense like that, we will triumph a championship".

Suns guard Leandro Barbosa Tuesday broke his silence after Brazil's disappointing display in the Americas Olympic qualifying tournament. Barbosa denied he was "unhappy or upset" during last week's competition in Las Vegas, instead saying he kept quiet in order to remain focused and have given his best for Brazil.

Barbosa, the NBA's top 6th man last season, helped Brazil in the end shake free by hitting 2 free throws and adding a floater, pushing the lead to 69-62 with 2:26 left.
