LeBron James saw defenders come at him from all angles and did what he normally does. He made them look invisible. James toyed with Chicago again, scoring 41 points for the 2nd time in 4 days, and the Cavaliers hung on to beat the Bulls 106-97 on Saturday night. This one came after a big display in a 14 point win over Chicago at home Wednesday night.

LeBron James got a lot of help on offense, then sealed the win with a spectacular play on defense. James scored 27 points, Anderson Varejao added 10 of his career high 18 in the 4th quarter, and the Cavaliers rallied to beat the Pacers 111-107 on Friday night.

This herd of Bulls got run over and over and over. Once LeBron James decided he was going to the basket, there was not a thing Chicago's defense could do to stop him. It is not like they did not try.

Could the best Cav one day become a Mav? Don't know, but the trusty blogosphere, always aglow with hot morsels, reports a rumor that a LeBron James insider lists the Mavericks and LA Lakers as possible destinations when James hits the open market in the summer of 2010.

For now, the Cavaliers are working vehemently to make it hard for LeBron James to leave in 2010. They will have significant cap space that summer too, and sources say they have targeted the Toronto Raptors' Chris Bosh to play with him.

Privately, LeBron James' circle had been telling people that they do not only expect him to leave in the summer of 2010, but in the words of one James associate to a high-ranking league official, He's gone. With the Knicks, there are 2 teams a source familiar with James' thinking said intrigue him, The LA Lakers and Mavericks.

So much for that theory about the Cavaliers getting motivated by watching the Boston Celtics receive their championship rings and hoist another championship banner on Tuesday night in T.D. Banknorth Garden. LeBron James said on Monday that the Cavaliers will sit this one out. They will wait in the locker room until the hoopla is over. "We do not need to be out there watching that, we need to get ready for the game", James said before the team left for Boston.
