Allen Iverson and 3 not as well-known backups got the Nuggets a much needed win. Iverson had 26 points, 9 assists, and combined with Linas Kleiza, JR Smith and Eduardo Najera on a 14-1 4th-quarter spurt that carried the Nuggets to a 125-114 win over the New Jersey Nets Friday.

Allen Iverson and Denver's supporting cast makes life without Carmelo Anthony painless for the Nuggets. Iverson scored 30 points and Linas Kleiza added 23 as the Nuggets beat the struggling New Jersey Nets 100-85 Friday night. "We have got so lots of guys banged up and we really needed a game like this", Iverson said.

No Carmelo Anthony meant someone had to step up. Kenyon Martin figured it might as well be him. So did Linas Kleiza. Ditto for Marcus Camby. The Nuggets had a cast of players fill the void left by Anthony's absence in a 107-100 triumph over the Atlanta Hawks Wednesday.

For one night, Linas Kleiza overshadowed Allen Iverson and Carmelo Anthony. Kleiza scored a career high 41 points and grabbed 9 rebounds as the Nuggets beat the Jazz 120-109 Thursday. "I have now scored 40 points on the highest stage you can ever score", mentioned Kleiza, whose previous career high of 29 came March 15 against the LA Lakers.
