A woman was charged with stalking LA Lakers forward Luke Walton. Stacy Elizabeth Beshear of El Segundo was arrested September 18 after she pulled up to his car and pretended to fire gunshots at him with her hand, police Sgt. Steve Tobias said. The 34 year old Beshear has pleaded not guilty to a misdemeanor count of stalking.

LA Lakers forward Luke Walton underwent surgery Friday to remove bone spurs and scar tissue and clean up some cartilage debris from his right ankle. The team mentioned the operation had taken about and hour and was performed by Dr. David Thordarson at the University of Southern California.

LA Lakers forward Luke Walton will undergo surgery to remove bone spurs from his right ankle Friday. The surgery will be done in L.A and a timetable for his recovery will be provided afterward, the team mentioned Tuesday.

Luke Walton scored 13 of his 18 points in the 4th quarter and the LA Lakers beat the short-handed Clippers 106-78 Thursday night for their 5th triumph in 6 games. The win moved the Lakers (54-25) within 1 1/2 games of the Western Conference leading New Orleans Hornets entering Friday night's showdown between the teams.

Phil Jackson plans to move Kobe Bryant from guard to small forward in order to give Luke Walton more breaks, leaving Derek Fisher and Jordan Farmar to handle the backcourt. Lamar Odom also might be moved to small forward from power forward.

The injury occurred with about 5 1/2 minutes left in the 3rd quarter of Saturday night's 113-93 loss to the LA Lakers. Morrison was attempting to defend Luke Walton on a drive to the basket and crumpled to the floor in severe pain whilst clutching his left knee.

The LA Lakers re-signed Luke Walton to a multiyear contract Thursday. The 27 year old Walton, who has played all of his 4 NBA seasons with the Lakers, had become an unrestricted free agent and received a 6 year deal, supposedly worth $30 million, to remain with the team.

Luke Walton appears to be returning to the LA Lakers. Several published reports mentioned the forward agreed to a 6 year, $30 million deal Sunday on the 1st day teams were allowed to contact free agents. "This is where I would like to be all along", Walton, an unrestricted free agent.

L.A. Lakers' Luke Walton views Kobe Bryant's recent outbursts about the possibly of wanting to be traded as a temporary product of his frustration with losing. Walton's father, Bill, was not nearly as understanding toward Bryant, criticizing by him for attention grabbing.
