Now that Marcus Camby (double figure rebounding last 2 games) is nearing full strength, the 1-6 Clippers are open to a rational market trade for the Chris Kaman who has battened down their middle for 5 seasons and is owed $43 million over 4 seasons. Sources say Charlotte has no one of consequence L.A desires.

Flu season, or some close imitation of it, appears to have hit the Clippers a bit early. Marcus Camby, now sidelined due to a bruised right heel, sat out most of the 1st week of training camp due to flu like symptoms.

Count Nene among those who were steamed when the Nuggets traded Marcus Camby to the Clippers. The irony is that the trade of Nene's best friend on the team has also been a reason for the Brazilian to smile.

Marcus Camby was shown to the city line. Could Allen Iverson be the next high dollar player to be drop-kicked out of Denver by the cost-cutting Nuggets? Indications are the Nuggets would trade Iverson if the deal was right.

Six days later, and Marcus Camby still cannot think what went down. It does appear a bit difficult to fathom. The L.A Clippers acquired Camby, the NBA's leading shot blocker the past 3 seasons, from the Nuggets last Tuesday for the option to exchange 2nd round picks with the Clippers in 2010.

With one Nuggets exec calling it a "chess move", the luxury tax-handcuffed Nuggets traded starting center Marcus Camby, and his large contract, to the L.A Clippers Tuesday for the right to swap 2nd round picks in the 2010 draft.

The Clippers acquired center Marcus Camby from the Nuggets Tuesday for the option to exchange 2nd round picks with L.A in 2010. Camby led the NBA in blocked shots with 3.61 per game last season, only the 2nd player in league history to do so in 3 straight seasons. He averaged 9.1 points and 13.1 rebounds playing a career best 34.9 minutes per game for the Nuggets.
