Utah forward Matt Harpring had surgery to remove 2 bone spurs from his right ankle. The Jazz said Harpring had surgery Thursday in Atlanta. The team was not sure how long Harpring's recovery would take.

Matt Harpring and the Utah reserves saw the triumphing over the Jazz starters put on the Pacers right from the start. Then they came in and turned up the intensity another notch. Carlos Boozer scored 22 points and Harpring added a season high 16 to power the Jazz to a 111-89 win Tuesday.
