Holiday, Payne, and a 2nd round pick can't get you john Collins.

Both are rebuilding teams this deal is pretty much a wash not a lot of reason for either side other than kings wanting lavine.

2.) 09 Jul 2018 16:41:07
The Kings wanted Lavine to pair with the rest of their young roster, not in place of any of those young guys.

Also, this couldn't happen until a year from now I believe due to offer sheet rules. Lavine can't be traded until December 15, he holds a no trade clause for a year (due to the matched offer sheet), and the Kings can't acquire him for a year (because they offered him the offer sheet) .

3.) 09 Jul 2018 18:55:10
Sacramento won't trade B Hield ( Unless they can get S Curry) .

Bulls Trade:
Robin Lopez, Denzel Valentine, Justin Holiday, Cam Payne, 2019 Unprotected 1st

Cavaliers Trade:
Kevin Love, Cedi Osman

Cleveland gets to clear up cap space for next season by letting Love go and adding expiring contracts. They also get an unprotected 1st Rounder.

Chicago gets a center who could fit nicely along with Lauri and help both him and Carter increase their game. Love could also help draw some interest from different stars next season. Osman becomes a serviceable bench player.

Dunn / Blakeney / Arcidiacono
LaVine / Nwaba / Kilpatrick
Hutchison / Osman
Lauri / Portis / Felicio
Love / Carter / Asik.

I’d be happy if we did this the east is wide open.

2.) 09 Jul 2018 15:22:30
Rebuilding teams should never trade unprotected #1 picks.

3.) 09 Jul 2018 15:40:33
I don't see how Love fits. He and Markkanen would be a terrible fit next to each other. You can have a good defensive with one of them on the floor, but with both on the floor, I'm just not sure you can guard any decent NBA team. Neither can guard out on the perimeter and they don't really provide much rim protection or help defense.

I think the Cavs would be interested. The unprotected pick would be hard to pass up even if they do like Osman a lot.

4.) 09 Jul 2018 21:08:36
bulls should be building their young team chemistry with Markannen and Carter at the 4 and 5 position not bringing in a one year rental on a bloated salary that won't stay there.

Bulls Trade:
Dunn, Valentine, Holiday Felicio, 2019 First Round Pick

Bucks Trade:
Bledsoe, Middleton

Bucks shed two salaries to try and land James, get a potential all star in Dunn, who averaged 13.4 PPG / 4.3 RPG / 6.0 APG / 2.0 SPG and service players in Valentine, and Holiday.

Bulls starting lineup gets instantly better by adding Middleton, who averaged 20 PPG/ 5.2 RPG / 4.0 APG / 1.5 SPG. Bledsoe comes averaged 17.7 PPG / 3.8 RPG / 5.0 APG / 2.0 SPG (in MKE) .

Bulls lineup:
Bledsoe / Blakeney / Grant / Payne
LaVine / Nwaba / Kilpatrick
Middleton / Hutchison / Zipser
Markkenen / Portis / Noel
Carter Jr. / Lopez / Noel

*Get rid of Asik
*Sign Nerlens Noel who can play at both PF and C.

It's a tough one that's a good package but ultimately Middleton is a guy you keep. Feliciano is expensive and looks pretty raw still too. Carter won't have to do much to play in front of him.

2.) 26 Jun 2018 16:54:01
That's not enough forMiddleton he's by far the best player in thedeal and Bledsoe might be number 2.

3.) 26 Jun 2018 18:21:29
If this is a "dump salary because Lebron committed to signing with the Bucks" type of trade, it's not unrealistic. It's a loss for the Bucks in a bubble, but sometimes that's what you have to do for the final win.

But if this is a "make this trade to clear room to offer Lebron a deal" trade, then it's just horrible. You don't make bad moves on a small chance to sign a free agent.

4.) 26 Jun 2018 20:10:53
But LeBron ain't coming to milwaukee.

So the Bulls nothing in return for their starting PG, both first round picks, our 6th man, and absorb 3 bad contracts? No thanks.
