Lakers attempt for Kevin Durant and Hassan Whiteside (1996 all over again)

These deals will to get another star player to entice KD over and also to free up salary to get both guys in Purple n Gold.

-------------------Lakers - Bulls - Sixers---------------------------

I have 2 separate deals because the 1st deal will be Jordan Clarkson Sign n Trade. SnT can't involve others players.

TRADES ARE AFTER THE DRAFT!

Deal 1.

Lakers get: Nikola Mirotic
Bulls get Jordan Clarkson

Deal 2.

Lakers trade: Lou Williams, Nick Young, Julius Randle, Anthony Brown, and their 1st round pick Ben Simmons.

Lakers get: Jimmy Butler and a Chicago 2nd

Bulls trade: Derrick Rose, Jimmy Butler, and a 2nd round pick

Bulls get: Lou Williams, Ben Simmons, Nerlens Noel, and Anthony Brown

Sixers trade: Nerlens Noel

Sixers get: Derrick Rose, Julius Rande, and Nick Young

Lakers-
In the deal they will be getting Star Jimmy Butler, a SG who is a perfect sidekick to Kevin Durant. They give away most all their young talent besides D'Angelo Russell and Larry Nance. After the deals they will have 43m to throw between Durant and Whiteside. Also, they get Nikola Mirotic who can stretch the floor if big man Whiteside who will want a PF like that so he can operate. A similar Duo to Shaq n Horry. To fill out the roster they sign min contracts and Dleague guys. I'd talk to Joe Johnson at signing for 1.5m which he may to contend at a chip and take the 6th man role. Chris Anderson, Vander Blue, and Sasha Vujaic.

D'Angelo Russell I Vander Blue I Marcelo Hueartas
Jimmy Butler I Sasha Vujaic
Kevin Durant I Joe Johnson
Nikola Mirotic I Larry Nance Jr. I Tarik Black
Hassan Whiteside I Birdman

Bulls-
Bulls rebuild by moving on for Rose. Rose was a favorite but he just isn't who he was. I thinking getting Clarkson is a great replacement, very similar style to Rose. He has a great work ethnic and just wants to be the best. They decide to build around Ben Simmons and Nerlens Noel. They no longer have Noah either who left FA. The Bulls now are one of the youngest teams but with tons of upside.

Jordan Clarkson I Lou Williams
Mike Dunleavy I Anthony Brown
Ben Simmons I Doug McDermott I Tony Snell
Taj Gibson I Bobby Portis I Chris Bairstow
Nerlens Noel I 24th pick AJ Hammons

Sixers-
Here IMO get a steal. Rose can bring in fans and tickets sales. The Sixers need to bring in money sales or they're in trouble. Rose is still a fan favorite. They also get Julius Randle who may be a better fit next to the 2 centers. Rose is expiring and will look for a new contract, maybe he stuns us all and stays healthy putting up all star numbers. Definatley a risk work taking. They also draft Brandon Ingram.

Derrick Rose I TJ McConnell
Brandon Ingram I Hollis Thompson
Robert Covington I Jerami Grant I Nick Young
Julius Randle I Dario Saric I Carl Landry
Jahlil Oakfor I Joel Embiid.

Celtics get:
- Russell Westbrook
- Enes Kanter
- Kyle Singler

Thunder get:
- David Lee
- Avery Bradley
- Isiah Thomas
- Kelly Olynk
- Evan Turner
- BK unprotected 2016 1st round pick (projected top 5)

The Celtics finally get a superstar to build around. Westbrook is a top 3 PG. he's someone you can build around. The Cs also get Kanter who is an offensive minded center. Between him and WB that's enough O to have, so now I'd put defensive minded players around them and they have it with Smart, Crowder, and Johnson.

Westbrook - Rozier
Smart - Young - Hunter
Crowder - Singler
Johnson - Sullinger - Jerebko
Kanter - Zeller - Mickey

With this team, I'd just build a chemistry. Most people think it's big names that win games but it's chemistry that wins. This lineup has pretty even and in the offseason I'd look to possibly add wing depth off the bench like a Gerald Green or Aaron Afflao.

As for the Thunder they get role players to put around KD. KD now becomes "the guy". I actually really really like this for Thunder going forward. Why? Well for 1. They free cap to go after free agents to put around KD and my main focus would be Mike Conley who is the ideal fit. 2. They get a top lottery pick who should be Jaylen Brown (if they don't get 1st) Brown is a SG/SF.

2016:
Conley - Thomas - Payne
Bradley - Brown - Morrow
Durant - Roberson - Huestis
Ibaka - McGary - Collison
Adams - Olynk.

1.) 14 Dec 2015 12:31:25
Thomas and Bradley are really the only useful pieces for okc here. I think they'd be asking something like Thomas Bradley crowder and bkn 1st for Westbrook, which is close to an overpay - but they wouldn't accept less.

2.) 14 Dec 2015 12:42:05
Cs would never go that far for Westbrook.

3.) 14 Dec 2015 12:45:39
This trade is terrrrrible for the thunder. I love the rationale that giving up a top 10 player let's you go for fringe all stars. Also, you give up a flat out stud to finally have role players. Seriously?

4.) 14 Dec 2015 14:12:17
Not enough value.

5.) 14 Dec 2015 16:42:04
I see Kanter as a huge salary dump, which reduces OKC's outgoing value.

6.) 15 Dec 2015 13:41:31
Love ok love this trade.

Omer Asik and Jrue Holiday for Michael Carter-Williams and Greg Monroe

Holiday - Vasquez
Middleton - Mayo
Freak - Inglis
Parker - Henson
Asik - Bryant

MCW - Ish
Gordon - Evans
Pondexter - Cunningham
Davis - Anderson
Monroe - Anjica

Bucks get better defensively. Monroe is not great defensively and I think pairing with Davis is more effective. Monroe and Davis will be quite the duo, both are crafty players and will work off one another great. Holiday is a better fit in MIL because he's a better shooter than MCW and is a JKidd type guard. I like MCW because he's not asked to score but to just operate and run the offense, the Pelicans have good depth at guard with Evans and Ish who can also play PG.

Ahhs10

1.) 05 Dec 2015 23:15:26
i don't think the bucks want either of those players; holiday is too injury prone and asik has a terrible contract. however, i do think monroe would fit perfectly alongside davis. something like gordon and a 1st for monroe would work.

2.) 06 Dec 2015 04:10:05
Asik won't get you monroe

Holiday is injury risk and is the same reason you wanna trade him for 2013 rookie of the year mcw.

Bulls trade: Joakim Noah, Nikola Mirotic, Mike Dunleavy, Doug McDermott, Bobby Portis, 2 1st round pick, and a 2nd round pick

Bulls get: Carmelo Anthony, Chris Johnson and Kevin Seraphin

They lose a lot of players but they're getting one of the best scorers in NBA history. The Bulls have always been the Cavs B-word, it's time they change the team up to be a bit more scary and matchup better. If Rose is healthy come playoff time this team is a legit beast, no doubt about it and will be very underrated defensively.

Rose - Brooks - Hinrich
Butler - Moore
Melo - Snell - Johnson
Taj - Bairstow
Gasol - Seraphin

Jazz trade: Alec Burks, Chris Johnson, and 2 2nd round picks

Jazz get: Nikola Mirotic, Jose Calderon and Mike Dunleavy

Jazz are a good young team but they're not hood enough to say challenge. This trade gives them shooting and more veteran leadership at the forward spot. Burks is a nice young player but Hood has been playing great and made him expendable. They also improve at the point guard position, Calderon is a smart veteran who is a terrific shooter but is a problem defensively. He's better than what they have now that's for sure.

Calderon - Burke - Neto
Hood - Milsap
Hayward - Dunleavy - Ingles
Favors - Mirotic - Lyles
Gobert - Tibor

Knicks trade: Carmelo Anthony, Jose Calderon, Lou Amundson, and Kevin Seraphin

Knicks get: Joakim Noah, Alec Burks, Doug McDermott, Bobby Portis, 2 Bulls 1st, Bulls 2nd, 2 Jazz 2nds.

Knicks get many young assets and they also move from Calderon contract allowing them to pursue in the FA market next season.

Galloway - Grant
Burks - Vujacic - Early
Afflao - McDermott - Williams - Thomas
Porzingis - O'Quinn - Portis
Lopez - Noah.

Ahhs10

1.) 21 Nov 2015 13:43:38
This trade greatly over-estimates the value of the Knicks players in my opinion, considering how expensive Carmelo and Calderon are.

2.) 24 Nov 2015 23:30:05
The knicks give up a top 10 scorer, decent back up pg, and 2 rotational big men. they get an expiring contract, an unwanted guard, a prospect, a bench player, 2 late 1sts and 3 2nds. I fail to see this as greatly over-estimation. What do you see an appropriate offer for melo? If you are trying to say this is a great overpayment for a top 20 player. what do you think is appropriate? Maybe noah and 2 seconds? Come on man, youve been pushing a 1st for your bench player kevin martin and claiming that's an appropriate evaluation. To then spin and say this is a GREAT over-estimate. hypocritical much?

My 4 guys I think may be traded by the trade deadline:

1. Rajon Rondo - The Celtics are rebuilding and may look to add a 1st round pick and another building piece. I wouldn't expect much in return because of his 1 year deal and I only see a team like Dallas, Houston, New York, Los Angeles in that order going for him. It's hard to say the value to get him because some teams like Sacremento, Atlanta, Charlotte, and Detroit would be stuck for just a rental. If Boston is willing to take Nash, Hill, and possibly a second Lakers may get a deal done or Wright, Felton, Crowder, and maybe a 1st (possibly best deal). My prediction is Dallas at the deadline and if not then he signs in Houston over the summer.

Other notable teams: Mavs, Lakers, Knicks, and Heat

2. David Lee - With Warriors looking to sign Klay Thompson long term it's going to be important to shed some salary as he will ask max money. I can see a few expiring contracts and possibly a late 1st going to the Warriors. A team I can see is Toronto sending Amir Johnson and Landry Fields/Chuck Hayes. The Warriors would have Johnson, Green, and Speights at the power forward position. Draymond Green will also be a FA so freeing up money is definatley a must if you want him back as well. Another trade could be for Kevin Garnett and Andrei Kirelenko. Nets may be looking for a younger big to play with Lopez and make a playoff run in a weak eastern division. Give Garnett and Kirenko a final run at a chip? KG does have a no trade clause though so I'm not sure. My Prediction is David Lee to Toronto by the deadline.

Other notable teams: Nets, Suns, and Knicks

3. David West - Pacers won't be a challenger this season, so while PG gets healthy I say bring in new pieces. Go into the lottery drafting a point or power. A trade I like for both teams is Andreai Bargarni, Iman shumpert, and a 2nd for West. Shumpert fits perfect and makes sense going forward. West brings that low post scorer with veteran experience for the Knicks who run the triangle. Another trade I can see is to the Thunder for Kendrick Perkins and Reggie Jackson. Pacers also save money next season to go after a possible Rajon Rondo or go young with just signing Reggie Jackson . My prediction is David West will be a New York Knick by the deadline.

Other notable teams: Raptors, Rockets, and Thunder

4. Irsan Illysova - The Bucks are looking to be the team with the brightest future. I think they're satisfied with a Henson-Sanders front court making Irsan expendable. In the past Irsan has been in many trade talks. A team who in my opinion fits his play is the OKC Thunder. The Thunder can offer Kendrick Perkins, Jeremy Lamb, and a pick for Illysova. Sova brings excellent shooting you can put around Kd and RW. He can come off the bench but play starter minutes alongside Ibaka. He's also a decent rebounder for his style of play. He only makes the Thunder more deadly and fits perfect. My prediction is Irsan Illysova will be an OKC Thunder by the deadline.

Other notable teams: Rockets, Spurs, Kings, and Knicks

Other guys I can see being traded: Eric Gordon, Jeff Green, Josh Smith, and Kevin Martin.

Ahhs10

1.) Warriors won't dump Lee for expirings, they aren't going to dump him at all unless if they get a better player in return

2.) Well if they want to free up cap to resign Thompson and Green they might have to trade Lee but they could probably get a better offer than up there

3.) Yep exactly celtics 4 life

Rockets get Durant and a 2018 1st protected top 24

Capela

Thunder get Lebron, Lin, and Boozer

Lin
Jackson
Lebron
Boozer

How can u say Sixers pass? They get rid of Landry and I'm not sure why they'd bring Wroten back. He's pretty bad.

Allen and Cart play more SF than they do SG, also Lou plays some time at PG. the Grizz need scoring help badly.

I'd do it for both teams for sure.

A Burks for Conley swap is legit but 1. Conley is expiring and 2. Burks is on a very bargain contract ecspecially with the cap rise next season.

Ya right! Kings would at least want Harris and a lot more like Gallonari

Gallo, Nurkic, Morris, Harris, and the picks may be a start.
