Rockets received : Jusuf Nurkic
Denver Received : Kj McDaniels

Rockets need a better back up center can defend the paint and can shoot outside jusuf nurkic is good for rockets.

While McDaniels is perfect fit for denver .

I don't comprehend. As far as I know Nurkic cannot shoot from outside and is just a big bruiser that plays solid defense and can rebound. He should have solid trade value due to him being 7ft 280 lbs, 22 yrs old and a solid backup center still on his rookie deal. Rockets already have a solid backup center in Nene and Capela is back so I don't see the need.

On the other hand KJ McDaniels plays one of Rockets shallowest positions of sg (Harden spends time at pg and Gordon is their only other sg) . I don't understand how he is the perfect fit for Denver. Denver has plenty of young sgs already with Garry Harris, Will Barton, Jamal Murray, and Malik Beasley. All of them are probably better than KJ McDaniels and have more upside.

Nurkic has more trade value than McDaniels. Add something else (ie. Ennis or a 2nd) and you're more likely to get a deal done.

Hawks Received : Kj McDaniels + 2017 Second Round Pick
Rockets improved the bench with Sefalosha and he is better shooter than McDaniels he help the bench in scoring.

2nd trade Rockets -Mavs

Rockets received : Andrew Bogut
Mavs received : Corey Brewer, Tyler Ennis + 2017 first round pick.

Bogut help the rockets in defense specially in the paint also in rebounding.

For mavericks brewer and better for their system run and gun play.

With Capela back and Nene playing well I'm not sure how necessary the second trade is but I like the first one. Getting a solid wing defender never hurts especially for a team with one of the best offensive players in the league.

It would be tough to picture a team with Harden and Melo but the price isn't bad (if Melo would want to go there is another issue) . That isn't close to enough for Ibaka tho.
