Nuggets get: Terrance Jones, Joey Dorsey, 2016 top 10 protected 1st round pick, 2017 2nd round pick (via Portland)

Rockets get: Ty Lawson, Randy Foye, use Alexey Shved trade exception

Denver does it: Terrance Jones would be a perfect front-court compliment to Nurkic, as he'd be able to effectively space the floor and guard mobile PFs. A protected first round pick would add to the collection in order to further rebuild.

Houston does it: Ty Lawson can be the second playmaker the Rockets have been desperate to have in order to aid Sir Harden. Randy Foye could offer similiar upside to Jason Terry and would be a welcomed addition for Morey as he can space the floor and provide veteran leadership. The picks figure to be late selections and would be necessary in order to upgrade back-court talent.

Nuggets- Raptors
Denver gets: Terrance Ross, James Johnson
get a versatile SG who could thrive with the uptempo pace and Malone's defensive emphasis.

Toronto gets: Kenneth Faried
get a PF who has history with Massai who can replace Amir Johnson and provide energy and a high motor for a team that has deep playoff aspirations

Nuggets are able to acquire pick #4 as Phil Jackson is in desperate need of veteran leadership and a quick fix at PG. Thunder rid themselves of Morrow, as they have Kanter to resign and can use all the cap space they can get. 76ers dratf Mudiay at 3, as Hinkie needs a PG to distribute and drive the lane. Russell falls to 4 where Nuggets take him and he takes on a Harden/Curry type role with the Nuggets. Beverley supplies veteran leadership and lockdown defense on any PGs or SGs. Cauley-Stein rotates in with the versatile bigs and is able to develop.

Your sixer logic is off. Hinkie needs a pg who can score and distribute. The lane is already clogged with embiid and noel. And Sixer's are desperate for a guard who can shoot, that's the worst part of mudiays game. So Sixer's take Russell all day long,and you're right, he does have curry/harden potential.

If Russell is not taken knicks rather have at PG for 9 mil less than Lawson 7 yrs older. Lawson is not game changer worthy of 4 pick.

Nuggets get desired trade assets while acquiring a defensive leader in Hill and a bad contract in Thompson. They unload Faried and get value for Lawson

Kings finally get the athletic 4 to Cousins that they've been looking for. They also get a backup rim protector and a backup combo guard to mentor Stauskas and Maclemore.

Pacers Get: Ty Lawson, Carl Landry

Pacers get a PG in Lawson who can dominate the ball and set teammates up for easy buckets. They are able to get a younger, more efficient version of Scola in Landry.

With a tremendous defensive and mature coach, the Nuggets continue to draft and grow with young stars in Russell and Nurkic. Although not a pretty lineup, they are able to start the rebuilding process correctly and give Thibs a team he can help mold and grow with.

Pacers get: Ty Lawson, Arron Afflalo, Wilson Chandler, Mozgov trade exception ($4.6 mill), Memphis Future 1st, 2015 2nd round pick

Nuggets get: Paul George, Geore Hill, Chris Copeland, 2017 2nd round pick

Pacers get solid wing help and are able to upgrade at the SG and PG positions while getting a solid SF in the process. They are able to acquire Memphis pick which is 1-5 protected from '17-'18 and then unprotected in '19. They get flexibility with the Mozgov exception that can help them bring on players without dipping into the luxury tax.

Nuggets get a defensive point guard in Hill that can fit well into Shaw's system. With George, the team gets a star player, albeit one who is recovering from an injury. This trade enables them to not rush George back and possibly secure a top 5 pick.
