OKC gets a good return on Anthony without having to give up a first round pick.
SAC gets an Anthony who, if anybody remembers, still averaged 16 points so he has a little bit of trade value. They also get rid of Shumperts bad contract and get a couple seconds. Temple is the only real talent value they have to give up, so this is kind of a win for them.

Here is what's going to happen with Anthony.
The Thunder are going to let him go for nothing and stretch his $28 million over 3 years.
The Rockets are going to sign him for peanuts in order to keep his buddy Chris Paul happy.
Houston will realize it has made a big mistake and by the All-Star break will be exploring ways to get rid of him.
No one will want him, and Anthony will be on the bench for most of however long the Rockets stay in the playoffs -- assuming he is not released by then.

First of all its the 2018/19 season we are talking aboit which would mean felicio is only garunteed aboit 24 M over 3 years and Asik is garunteed only 14 M over 2 years. Asik is only garunteed 3M in his 2nd year. OKC can stretch Felicio's contract over 7 years and since technically Asik has two years becausw of the garunteed 3M OKC can stretch his contract over 5 years. To summarize if they do this deal and Waive and Stretch these 3 contracts plus Singler the only pay 8 M a year instead of 10 M a year with Melo.

Asik has an early termination option. So yes i agree he will do nothing and take 4-5 mil he's guaranteed in '19-'20 and get waived. So I tally 22-23 mil this season, 13-14 next season. Melo would be flat out 24 (guessing) . I don't know what a 2nd rounder goes for but I'd think 40-45 tax included is pretty steep for a swap of seconds.

Rad23, anyone considered Durant going to the Celtics via the Irving connection? GSW may even take Hayward in a S&T? I highly doubt they would be willing to pay Hayward 30+mil but they might be able to trade him before they need to re -sign Green in 2020? Leonard is unlikely to play with KD or LBJ, I think. Money can change that though.

KD did have C's on his list. Just will have to wait to see what NOLA does with AD, they're looking to be buyers instead of sellers, so this makes me think they either look to build around him or waiting for the summer then try to pry Tatum and others from the Celtics.
Who would you guys think the C's would rather have, AD or KD?

Either would be a good consolation prize. KD puts them in Horfords Window, AD puts them in kyries's, tatums, browns, roziers, smarts, window. Maturity will win the title sooner. KD would put them over the top immediately, AD would put them over the top eventually, and for a longer stretch probably.
