Celtics Receive Ty Lawson ( denver has made it clear they are trading Ty who wants to be traded and they want 2 1st round picks. They will not get that so asking price WILL go down. 1 first rounder AND a young talented player on a cheap deal like turner gets him)
Trade gerald wallace and future 1st Rnd pick to a willing team ( someone like philly will be interested in an expiring deal with that 1st round pick included) gets money off books

This is A VERY REALISTIC OffSeason and all these new players they have acquired (in my mock offseason) have all been rumored to the team in the past few months. I would be as excited as possibke if this is the way the Celtics went. They get Young Stars like Ty Lawson AND Tobias Harris that are already proven yet are still young enough to grow even more together into legit ALLSTARS. And adding Justise Winslow to Marcus Smart they now have a pair of top 6 picks that are already defensive studs but have overall talent to become top 25 players in the league. This team would contend this year and be around 3rd-5th seed in the east and win a round maybe 2 but is still so young they grow together (like the Warriors did ) and contend for championships a couple years down the road and be so fun and exciting to watch them get there. And all those Brooklyn first rounders which will be lottery picks will only add to their chances and high end talent
I WOULD LOVE THIS TO HAPPEN AND I can't WAIT FOR THE ACTUALLY DRAFT AND FREE AGENCY!!

as a Celtics' fan, I dislike this completely. there are many bigs in the draft that could fit in boston and if they could, why not get one (especially willy thrilly)?
Obviously if they can get cousins, go for it. I'd prefer to avoid the headaches and not get cousins. I'd prefer towns (if at all possible) or WCS if possible. Haven't had that defensive big man in a loooong time!

-Trade Evan Turner and future 1st rnd picks (they have 10 in next 4 years) to Denver and get Ty Lawson
-Theyll have to overpay but sign Greg Monroe TO PLAY CENTER to a max deal which is A SLIGHT OVERPAY BUT it gets him to boston and WHEN THE SALARY CAP GOES UP ITS NOT AS BAD.

. This offseason right here would make me so happy. You add legit young star talent in lawson and monroe and you add another top 10 pick whos a defensive stud with all the room to grow on offense in stanley johnson to pair with Marcus Smart and they can grow together. And in this whole process the celtics keep those brooklyn picks which are gold. This is a Top 4 team in the east and is still young enough it can grow together in the next few years while adding lottery talent and make its way back to the finals the same way the Golden State Warriors built their team. Get Stanley Johnson in the draft and if you can't pull off this trade i'm drafting Rondae Hollis-Jefferson at #16 who was Johnson teammate. he's the best defensive player in college but doesn't have the polish on the offensive end like Stanley Johnson.

First of all, there is no way Detroit would trade the #8 pick for #16, #45 and Olynyk. Boston would have to give #16, #28, and #33 + Olynyk for it to be considered. Moving up 8 spots into the lottery costs a lot.

I agree that to move up 8 spots is going to cost alot. Olynyk has proven he is a bench player that is inconsistent over the last two years. His shooting percentages are low from the three point arc I think I read 27% over the last two years. It would have to be 16,28,33 and Olynyk for that move to happen, but I doubt Detroit trades back without being blown away by the offer because they have the SF position to fill and Mario and maybe Winslow will be their.

Bos/GS Trade.
Celtics gets- Andre Iguodala, Harrison Barnes
Golden State gets- Gerald Wallace, James Young, Kelly Olynik, 1st rnd pick (Clippers 28th)
Golden State is matching any draymond Green offer sheet so they need to shed Iguodalas contract because he's signed for 12.5 mill/per for 2 years after this one. Wallace is an expiring contract who makes a lil less than iguodala and they'll be free from that money after next year. They lose harrison barnes but he's similar enough to green and you get young(plays SF) and olynik(perfect stretch 4 who can play when draymonds at the 3)and a 1st round pick.Perfect for both teams and GS will b making a trade this offseason Trust me
Offer a max deal to Deandre Jordan. If the Clippers match it then Sign Montae Ellis and Omir Asik to protect the rim. ReSign Jae Crowder
In the Draft take Trey Lyles at #16 and Dakari Johnson at #33 as your young Center of the future

I think DeAndre Jordan is a long shot so I went with the Ellis/Asik lineup instead and looking at it I kinda like it more for Brad Stevens style of coaching. This is my plan and no one is going to comment and say this is crazy because every thing is in the realm of possibility and it makes too much sense. My Plan B if you can't get Harrison Barnes is offer a Max to Tobias Harris and take those same assets and try and swing a trade for nerlons Noel but that's for another day.
BTW tell me this team isn't in the TOP 3 in the East next year. Barnes can match guys like lebron paul george and jimmy butler and asik can finally protect the rim. another year for bradley/smart/thomas to grow together and a go to scorer in Ellis. BOOM

THIS YEAR wihout this plan I think the Celtics had a legit shot to beat any other team in the playoffs besides bulls/cavs. And IMO the celtics would of beat the Hawks if they were the #8 seed. i'm telling you it would of went to 7 and the hawks would turn into a puddle like usual. and x Iggy and Barnes are in the trade together because Iggy right now is older and this celtics team is young and needs a legoit Young SF to grow and improve every year along with the rest of the young core. And with James and the emergence of Jimmy Butler Tobias Harris Khris Middleton Demar Derozan Celtics need a great SF to counter all those guys. Barnes can be the 3rd best player on a championship team Iggy is a role player

THIS TRADE IS SO ABSURD IT ACTUALLY MAKES SENSE HAHA. This is like fairy tale land if all 3 teams wanted a majjor shakeup. But Jimmy Butler might be aS GOOD as durant right now but this is fun haha
