Spurs trade Aldridge to sixers for okafor. Spurs want to free up cap space and they now have Gasol.

Hoddy

1.) 21 Oct 2016 21:14:25
They also want to compete for a title this year, so this is a big no from the Spurs.

2.) 22 Oct 2016 20:09:17
Sixers wouldn't do that. And Spurs want to win now. So they won't do a Aldridge for super youth trade.

Sixers get Trey Lyles
Utah gets Nerlens Noel and Robert Covington.

Come in hoddy.

How does that even remotely help the Sixers? We loss our best shooter and best defensive player for yet another big man who isn't even as good as Noel.

2.) 09 Sep 2016 18:39:55
I am a big fan of Trey Lyles. He is six foot ten inches, and play all aspects of the game well. Noel has 1 year left on his contract and an offensive liability, and Covington is a backup on a good team. Trey Lyles, to me, has near all star potential. Look at some of the film on him from last year and in the summer league. I don't think Utah makes this trade because they see Lyles potential.

3.) 09 Sep 2016 20:03:14
Trey lyles? He has zero star potential my friend. . He'll be lucky to play in the starting line up on Utah this year. I'd take Noel ten times out of ten. And Noel and Gobert would be a formidable combo. Much better then Gobert and trey. I'd pass everytime.

4.) 09 Sep 2016 23:45:03
No because lyles can actually space the floor. Gobert and Noel=no spacing at all. Plus Noel would be behind favors anyway.

5.) 10 Sep 2016 00:56:30
Utah says no.

6.) 10 Sep 2016 03:36:50
Fine you go and keep trey and watch him do absolutely nothing this year. He's a dime a dozen and plays zero defense. Trey lyles is a bench piece.

7.) 10 Sep 2016 03:39:23
The king. So what are we talking about here. Sixers get a back up pf for two backups in Noel and Covington. Sixers still lose that trade. It's a ridiculous trade. The only difference is Noel and Covington could start in the NBA where as Lyles has zero chance to start in the NBA.

8.) 10 Sep 2016 18:23:11
i believe Trey Lyles fits better at the small forward position.

Bulls trade - Doug MCdermot and 2017 1st pick
76ers trade - Nerlens Noel.

1.) 28 Aug 2016 06:21:33
We lose our best shooter and a pick we need for a center we don't need. The Bulls are great at getting late round talent. Not worth.

2.) 28 Aug 2016 11:09:30
"Late round". LOL.

3.) 28 Aug 2016 16:06:43
Your backup center is a back up rookie pf. You need depth at center.

I actually see this as a pretty accurate trade, and likely works for both teams.

Sixers can slide simmons to the 4, mcdermott at the 3 and spread the court.

Bulls get depth, and it costs a backup who they won't be missing too much because butler is a workhorse and snell is a very serviceable back up, and likely a pick around the 20 area.

Not bad.

4.) 28 Aug 2016 16:42:56
Not bad but not quite.

When did Snell become serviceable?

5.) 28 Aug 2016 17:41:48
Sixers don't do this trade. Bulls pick is mid round pick. No value there. And Mcdermott has shown he can shoot. And do absolutely nothing else. And he is a match up nightmare when he guard anyone.

6.) 28 Aug 2016 18:23:28
Noel could easily play the four or five. It's a little light for Philly, though.

7.) 28 Aug 2016 21:56:25
Noel can play the four? He can't shoot, which has become a prerequisite for today's Power Forwards.

8.) 29 Aug 2016 01:01:31
They got Taj Gibson and Jimmy Butler lat3. Valentine still needs to develop, so you can't use him as an example. The east is weak. Therefore, they will probably win a healthy amount of games. Which then translates into a late pick. I'm confused? @BHC.

9.) 29 Aug 2016 14:55:00
Hey triangle, there are two sides to the game. Offense. And defense.

The point with noel is that he can cover on defense at least 2 positions, somewhat 3. The current starter, Gibson, was a whopping 0 for 0 from 3. Hardly a major floor stretcher.

And just as easily as you can claim striking gold in Butler and a solid 6th man/ finger starter in Gibson, the Bulls have another 5 busts per each success. let's not get crazy.

10.) 29 Aug 2016 18:00:12
Wow! I agree with Burger. The final realization to this is the fact that Noel is a free agent next year.

24 Aug 2016 15:44:32
Nets gets - Patterson, poetl, Ross and Torontos 2018 1st round pick, and clippers 2017 1st round pick
Toronto gets - Lopez and mccullough
Time to rebuild in Brooklyn.

Hoddy

1.) 24 Aug 2016 20:26:34
Raps have Val, no need for Lopez.

Hell NO from T. O.

2.) 25 Aug 2016 17:35:03
Agreed Brooklyn needs a rebuild - BUT IN WHAT WOULD DO YOU THINK THE RAPS WOULD DO THIS - THINK BEFORE YOU POST JUST STUPID!

A finals contender is not going to blow it up and give away 2 firsts. give your head a shake.

24 Aug 2016 02:25:27
Phi gets - Doug McDermott
Chi gets - Nerlens Noel.

Hoddy

1.) 24 Aug 2016 04:53:46
Jokes. Noel has much more value than that and I'm not even 76ers fan.

2.) 24 Aug 2016 05:26:11
Valentine AND. McDermott is the starting price.

3.) 24 Aug 2016 08:18:03
Chi doesn't need a center - they have R. Lopez. Thay may need to strengthen their bench yet their best trading asset is Taj Gibson ;)

4.) 24 Aug 2016 13:27:48
I'd also do Valentine and Mcbuckets for Noel.

Robin Lopez shouldn't prevent any deal from happening.
