Trade Idea:
Timbetwolves trade 2017 first round and shabazz Muhammad for Nuggets 2017 second round pick and Jamal Murray.

Reasons why this works: The wolves need a guard who can shoot, I mean really shoot. With a young talent in Jammal Murray, he could develop along side our young core and we would be even more deadly.

Reasons why the nuggets accept the offer:
Next years draft is projected to be a very deep and stacked draft. As the nuggets rebuild, they will or can rebuild around Emmanuel mudiay, Garry Harris, and Nicola jokic . It would be wise to draft a sf or pf to compliment those three. Shabazz would be a great young peice for their team.

Trade idea:
Timberwolves-cavaliers
Timberwolves receive: Kevin love
Cavaliers receive: gorgui dieng, 2017 first round

Why this trade works Timberwolves: this trade will bring a superstar back to Minnesota to pair along with KAT. In addition we bring the Ricky Rubio Kevin love pair together. This trade would automatically make Minnesota a playoff contender.

Why this trade works Cavliers: last year the cavaliers won the NBA finals seemingly with out kevin love. He didn't play a big role through the series either. Trading away Kevin love will clear up salary space, while also receiving a dominant young big man in gorgui dieng to replace mozgof, and giving you a pick in next years stacked draft.

The fact that Love didn't play a huge role in NBA finals (although I think he did better than he gets credit for) doesn't indicate his trade value. What he brings to a team, an elite stretch 4 that is an elite passer and rebounder and still relatively young, makes him much more valuable than what is being offered here.

Not sure why they'd want a player to replace Mozgov when Mozgov actually didn't contribute to the Cavs winning the NBA finals other than keeping the bench warm and being a cheerleader. Also, at this stage Cavs have minimal interest in draft picks.

Love has more value than that.

This past year he, averaged 16 and 10 as the 3rd option. Sure his shooting percentages is down, but he is being asked to take more 3s than he used to.

Let's not forget that just 2 years ago he averaged 26 and 12.
