KCP is a restricted FA and isn't going anywhere. I think Knicks should move Melo and i don't think Cavs could pass that up. Don't think Twolves would give up a first for Shumpert tho, it would have to be heavily protected. Suns aren't going to give up Warren that easily either. He is a solid part of their young core.

Keep melo. I think he's a great scorer but is overated and don't believe he is going to get you what you want now with a trade. He wants to stay and I do believe with right players around him he can still work for the knicks plus Jackson would be ggone
Don't do anything before the trade unless you can get something for Rose and or Noah. But don't take rubbish just to get rid of them.

Draft a shooting guard/ point guard with 1st round pick
Draft a power forward and point guard with both second round picks
Let Derrick Rose go
Use melo to bring Chris Paul to the knicks
Do every thing you can to trade Noah even if only get a 2nd round pick that will do

Sign Zack Randolph
Start Hernangomez at centre he has shown lots of promise and him and Kp will work well together

This is a terrible plan for so many reasons.
Phil Jackson sucks, but melo is not going to win a championship for the knicks. To think that what. cp3 is the missing piece? He can't win a championship when surrounded by DeAndre Jordan, Blake Griffin and a solid supporting cast. Now you think he comes to this mixed back of crap in NewYork and will win? Oh wait. they get a mid to late lottery pick as a starter?
This is terrible.

Can't get more than rubbish for Noah, Rose is a complete detrimental to your team, and having Melo and rose, soaks up lots of Porzingis shots slowing his development. I seriously hate every idea you have outside of trading phil.

Don't like it at all. Yes, you won't get fair value for Melo, but this should be about tearing it down and rebuilding. Keeping this core will get the Knicks to 35 wins and the 10-12 range in the draft. Move Melo, take less back, and aim for a top 6 pick. CP3 may consider a Knicks team with Melo on it, but I don't know that he's the right signing. He's got a lot of miles and injuries on him. I would rather draft a PG or get a Rubio instead. Melo and CP3 will be past their prime before Zinger is in his.

Two reasons Philly won't trade for a PG right now: 1) there are several good ones available in the 2017 draft, 2) they have said they are going to play Simmons at the point, full-time, when he comes back. He may or may not stay there, but they won't be trading for a PG in the near future.

Now that a Jeff Hornacek looks like he's in place as
head coach and for record I'm quite pleased with that anyone then Kurt Rambis, I would then get Patrick Ewing as his assistant coach.

Sounds like Hornacek will want to run more, so I would rather see a high tempo Point Guard than Bazemore. I don't know that Wroten is a PG, I feel like he would be better suited in a Jamal Crawford type roll. I'm not saying what you have above isn't reasonable though, I think it could be a realistic offseason for the Knicks.

Pretty underwhelming offseason and I'm not sure if this is enough to get them in the playoffs. However, I think its pretty realistic as Knicks aren't going to make any noise unless they move Porzingis or Melo.

I'm not too big on Phil (I don't think he wanted the job he just couldn't turn down the money) . I don't think firing him is a bad idea and I also don't think they'll get a good enough return to make dealing Melo worth it. Signing Paul is a bit unrealistic, Rose may be their best option. I don't think Lowry or Hill are leaving their teams. Maybe they could snag Teague or Holiday but neither is significantly better than Rose.

Paul will not sign with Knicks and Randolph is not a good signing. Trading Rose could not be that hard or you just can let him walk yet for Noah you would have to take another bad contract. I would try E. Turner.

There is zero chance the Knicks trade Lopez for Howard for many reasons.
The Knicks would not trade Lopez, who has a reasonable contract, for a guy with 1 year left on his unless they were going to sign Howard for several years.
And Howard will probably opt out of his contract meaning the Knicks can just sign should they want him at $25m+ instead of Lopez at about half of that. They would then move Lopez to fill another need.

Are you joking with this trade so not only the Knicks give up a future franchise and allstar player they give up a 1st round pick aswell for a centre they don't need. Knicks laugh at this and hang up.
