Boston is loaded in the front court as well as the back court. So as far as this trade is concerned it doesn't make any sense to do it. There's only one trade out there that would warrant getting rid of 4 players, especially Avery and that would be D Cousins. They'll go with what they have now and make adjustments as needed at the trade deadline. If any trades are made now I think it will be to free up space for draft picks and/or a player they can stash overseas.

Sixers don't want Lawson. So Sixers pass on smart for Noel straight up. Plus those two play the exact same position. Why would Sixers want that. On top of that Noel is vital right now with embiid out. So no need to trade him now.

In the NBA, its easier to get smalls. Always has been. The Celtics built their legacy on that concept, trading smalls for BIGS.
The Sixers have 112 draft picks coming up. They should be able to acquire their guards without having to move Noel or significant 1st rounders. They'll just have to be patient 1 more year.
Besides, nobody wants Ty Lawson.
