Cavs get: R. Gay, K. Koufos
Kings get: K. Love, J. McRae
Both Gay and Love are currently injured, but the salaries work. Thoughts?

Why would Cleveland do this?
R Gay is a free agent.
And K Love was^playing good B Ball this year.
But i like this for this for the Kings :-) :-)
K Love- Cousins would be a good combi.

Gay tore his achilles and is out until atleast the beginning of next year and is a freeagent. Love is out 6 weeks with a minor knee operation. Gay is older and no where near as good as Love.

Why would the Kings do this?
They have a backlog of bigs with Bagley III and Giles needing more minutes. Adding Gordon to the mix would only stunt their growth and his contract would make resigning their players who are still on their rookie contracts that much more difficult.

That trade would put the Kings into a must-win-now situation with the Warriors still dominant in the Pacific. I think that they are better off waiting for their own window instead if rebuilding the Pelicans.

The Kings are building a team that has been timed to contend after the Warriors begin their decline. Their youth (Fox, Giles, or Bagley) are not on the table for any trades.
Counter offer: replace Bagley with Cauley-Stein, remove Moore, Bogdanovic, and one of the future picks.

I don't think the Kings are interested in trading WCS unless it's an offer that they can't refuse. They are shopping Koufos though.
