76ERS receive 1st pick 2017, Rozier, Mickey

CELTICS receive 3rd pick 2017, LAL 1st round pick 2018, Okafor

While the value is fair, I see the C's saying no. They've already got a bunch of picks, so the extra pick doesn't benefit them as much as getting a special player like Fultz.

I would suggest that a trade like this should be a three team one where the C's move both of those picks they acquire from Philly and Crowder for a Butler or a PG13 instead.

Sixers have had no luck dumping Okafor because they value him a lot more than other teams do. He would be a particularly bad fit in Boston, which needs a rebounder/ shot blocker. Okafor is neither.

Rozier showed he can play during the playoffs, I doubt Boston wants to get rid of him for this type of trade.

Triangle, I really don't see fair value here. Rozier has more value than Okafor and Boston is not getting rid of the #1 for a player that won't help the team or have any trade value at the TD. And even with a 3rd team, which would be needed to get Butler in this scenario I just don't think they'll include Rozier.

Billj,

The reason that it is fair value is that the Lakers pick next year will most likely be in the Top 5, chances are that they won't be considerably better next year, even with Ball. Philly gives up two top 5 picks for number 1, seems fair.

Boston trades - 2017 1st pick, Marcus Smart and Jordan Mickey

Sacramento trades - 2017 5th pick, 10th pick, Skal Labissiere and Willie Cauley-Stein

Boston should draft Tatum or Issac with 5th pick and Giles with 10th.

Sacramento would draft Fultz.

Again, C's don't need four young players when they're trying to win now. Take those picks, Skal and Crowder and package it for a superstar in a three team deal. Maybe 5, 10 and Skal alone gets you Boogie?

Triangle is right here.
Boston would trade out of the first round for Butler or George, but it would be an absolute stunner if the Celtics trade down. I'm not necessarily in favor of them keeping the pick, but I think that's what they'll do.

I can see them trading down for the right package. Don't forget, this Danny Ainge, he thinks outside the box.
