Raptors-Mavericks

Raptors get Matthews/ Powell

Mavs get Ibaka/ Miles/ Richardson and a future protected 1st

Raptors get a good veteran 2 guard, Solid younger backup 5, save a bit on the tax this year and get Matthews expiring contract

Mavs get 2 good useful veterans and a future draft pick for taking the extra year on Serge's contract.

Odds76

Raptors banking on finals. They don't need expiring. They need to win ecf.

Wizards-Bulls

Wizards get Portis/ Payne

Bulls get Oubre Jr/ Meeks and a 2nd round pick

Wizards get a good young 4 and a backup guard 2 areas they have a need in

Bulls get a young wing, which they lack, and a draft pick

Gives all the players involved a chance to play a bigger role on their new teams.

Crazy idea, big shake up:

Wolves/ Blazers/ Bulls

Wolves get McCollum/ Turner/ Leonard from the Blazers, Payne/ Portis/ future protected 1st from the Bulls

Blazers get Butler/ Gibson from the Wolves, Lopez/ Hutchison from the Bulls

Bulls get Wiggins

Wolves get a pretty good haul for a free agent that may leave and get off of a bad contract, get a star player signed long term to pair with KAT and some solid younger pieces in areas of need for them plus a draft pick

Blazers take a risk in hopes Butler resigns
there to play with Dame, improve for this year, and get a ton of cap flexibility even if they resign Butler (Lopez/ Gibson is 28 million)

Stupid thumbs. my explanation got cut off early

Bulls get Wiggins, a good young "star" player that still has a ton of upside at the position they are weakest at, while giving up players that might be buried on the depth chart.

2.) 19 Aug 2018 21:06:39
Wiggens is overpaid. With Parker at sf, i don't think wiggens is needed.

3.) 19 Aug 2018 21:51:57
Salaries don't add up. Wolves have too much incoming, not enough outgoing.

4.) 19 Aug 2018 22:28:45
Isnt bulls af getting 30 million over next two years? Parker.

5.) 20 Aug 2018 00:36:27
I agree Wiggins is overpaid, doesn't mean he isn't a good player, he's young with plenty of room to grow, Chicago isn't giving up the world to get him here either, I'd imagine they'd probably play Parker at 4 at least part of the time and it's not like they have many good wing players, Wiggins could start at 2 or 3 for them, and the salaries do work according to the trade machine, Wolves have approx 58 going in and 59 going out.

6.) 20 Aug 2018 01:25:24
Wiggens Dieng for Lopez Asik Felicio.

His value for being paid 2x as much as worth.

Raptors-Magic-Nuggets

Raptors get Lyles/ Beasley (or other salary filler) from Nuggets

Magic get Powell/ future protected 1st from Raptors

Nuggets get Simmons

Raptors save some money, get young Big to replace Poetl

Magic get a future 1st for taking on Powell's contract, possible good young defensive wing if he finds his game again

Nuggets get good 2 way wing player, fills a need from a position of strength, too many good bigs.

Odds76

1.) 19 Aug 2018 06:44:46
the Magic can’t be trading Simmons, especially not for another wing who’s greatest asset is potential except he’s 6 years older.

2.) 19 Aug 2018 15:31:29
You realize Simmons is 28 right? Powell is 24, which is 4 years younger not 6 years older, and their career numbers are pretty close to each other, Powell had a bad year on a deep team and lost his opportunity, Simmons was given basically free reign and put up 14 pts, he's a good 2-way wing that is being wasted on a really bad team, plus I don't really think Magic are at a place where they should be turning down 1st round picks for anybody not on their rookie deal or named Gordon.

Raptors-Thunder-Magic

Raptors get Simmons/ Martin from Magic-Singler/ Patterson from Thunder (stretch or buyout both)

Thunder get Ibaka from Raptors/ Ross from Magic

Magic get Schroeder/ Abrines from Thunder

Raptors get solid wing player and a big guy with potential, save a little bit of money

Thunder get to clean their books a little bit, get a couple of players that would be more useful to them than what they are giving up, one with an expiring contract

Magic get the best player in the deal (apologies to Serge), a good young scoring pg which they lack and a backup 2.

Odds76

1.) 17 Aug 2018 00:19:17
Schroeder and Abrines are average players at best. Simmons is the gem in this deal. Whoever ends up with simmons wins.

2.) 17 Aug 2018 00:40:38
Bad deal for magic.

3.) 17 Aug 2018 02:14:59
I can’t see Orlando wanting Schroeder and the Raptors already have a ton of wings,

4.) 17 Aug 2018 06:45:11
Thunder big winner.

5.) 20 Aug 2018 04:05:54
The Thunder bench (which is where they need help) is not better, but actually worse for making that trade.
They really only need a bench shooting guard who can play D and make the 3's, but that player would have to come from a trade for Abrines, Ferguson, Nader, Diallo and Singler.

To get AD to the Raptors I think it would take:

Pelicans get JV, Siakam, OG, Delon, Norm, a future unprotected 1st and a future top 5 protected pick

Raptors get AD, Hill

Taking on Hill's contract would be an added incentive, it would mean the Pelicans are betting the Raptors wouldn't be able to keep Kawhi or Davis, making the future picks very valuable, doubt it happens but I can't see them getting a much better offer from anyone else.

Lowry might ask for a trade based on what? They just had media day and he said he's ready to play and to win, same as Kawhi, and everybody else that they interviewed, the Raptors falling apart without DeMar narrative is lazy and played out, they won 59 games last year and got better on both sides of the ball with the trade, so.

Not sure there could be a more sideways move in the entire NBA, has anyone ever seen them in a room together, because I have my suspicions they are the same guy, Wall and Beal are the Dame and CJ of the East.

I like it, solid trade all around, feel like Bucks might be giving up a little too much, but definitely a good idea.
