This went down Friday:
GS/PHI
GS trades Gerald Wallace, cash, rights to swap the worst of the OKC/MIA picks with the Warriors 2016 1st.
PHI trades Jason Thompson.
Makes sense for the sixers, and I love it for the Warriors. With the Lee trade and now this one, they've saved $22m in just tax savings for pretty much nothing. Thompson won't play a ton, but he's still solid. And he's only guaranteed $2.5m in 2016.
ROSTER
Curry/Livingston/Craft
Thompson/Barbosa/Clark
Barnes/Iguodala/Rush
Green/Speights/McAdoo
Bogut/Ezeli/Thompson
+Kevon Looney and Michael Frazier in D-League
1.) 02 Aug 2015 13:20:42
"Mekes sense for the sixers. " How exactly does this make sense for the Sixers? They traded a player that can contribute for a player that cannot contribute. In return, they received the rights to swap either the Miami/OKC pick for the Warriors pick.
As for the pick swap, unless the Warriors get hit with an injury of some sort, they'll go pretty far into the playoffs. Utilizing this pick swap is a long shot to happen, and if it does happen, it will be near the end of the first round. Big freaking deal.
This indicates to me the Sixers are not serious about competing this year. Instead of getting a competent PG, they're shedding players (again).
2.) 02 Aug 2015 22:41:10
^Did you think the sixers would compete this year? Gerald Wallace is a good locker room presence and it's not like Thompson is a beast. Plus wallaces contract expires after next year, while Thompson costs $2.5m if you waive him.
3.) 03 Aug 2015 14:53:51
@warriors There going to waive Wallace anyway. There trying to move Landry to in some reports. He thought sixers could win 30 games

Thompson/Miles/Barbosa
Barnes/Igoudala/Looney
Green/Lee/McAdoo
Bogut/Ezeli/Kuzmic
1.) 07 Jul 2015 13:06:23
Why now you want to trade Mo Speights? but this could be a good deal for both teams.
2.) 07 Jul 2015 19:22:16
^I would only trade Mo if there isn't a good Lee trade out there. And I love CJ in GS because they need shooting off the bench.
3.) 07 Jul 2015 19:57:28
Lol scratch this trade we traded lee
30 Jun 2015 04:22:28
If Boston strikes out on a big FA, they should sign Robin Lopez and Tobias Harris. Then.
GS/BOS
GS trades David Lee.
BOS trades Gerald Wallace, RJ Hunter.
BOS
Smart/Thomas/Pressey
Bradley/Turner/Rozier

Stretch Wallace.
Resign Draymond Green.
Sign Ray Allen.

Barnes/Igoudala/Rush
Green/Speights/McAdoo
Bogut/Ezeli/Kuzmic
(+Looney and Frazier in D-League)
1.) 30 Jun 2015 07:00:25
Golden State is trying to dump big salaries to be able to re-sign Green to a max deal. Gerald Wallace is another big contract (I believe $12-ish) that would just sit on the bench like David Lee did. Would be a good trade for the Celtics though; but I don't see that happening.

Draft Delon Wright #27.

Payton/Wright
Oladipo/B. Gordon
Harris/A. Gordon
Randle/Frye
WCS/O'Quinn
1.) 23 Jun 2015 14:59:32
If the Magic liked Randle this much they would simply have drafted him last year. All he's done this year is ride the bench. Laker fans are seriously over-valuing him.
2.) 23 Jun 2015 15:57:48
He rode bench? He was hurt he was only on the bench for the last few games he has ton of potential and is better than Aaron gordan

Not bad , like the vonleh pick
2.) 24 Jul 2015 21:10:53
Kings will be higher than that's 8-11 range
07 Jul 2015 20:05:06
So Lee was traded.
GS/BOS
David Lee for Gerald Wallace straight up.
I would've thought the Warriors could've gotten a small asset in return, but I'm fine with the trade. If they stretch Wallace, it saves 12 million, plus a lot more in luxury tax hits.
That could be the last move the Warriors make this offseason, besides maybe add another SG to go along with Barbosa off the bench
18 Jun 2015 05:58:39
My 2015 NBA 1st Round Mock Draft with no trades (1 week early)
1.TWolves- Karl-Anthony Towns (easy pick IMO)
2.Lakers- Jahlil Okafor (hope for KAT, settle for Okafor)
3. Sixers- D'angelo Russell (perfect fit, he'll have a chance to shine.
4. Knicks- Justice Winslow (I would trade the pick, but winslow is a beast and the BPA)
5. Magic- Kristipas Porzingis (Him and magic are perfect match, they need his spacing)
6. Kings- Emmanuel Mudiay (WCS is tempting but you need floor general w/ DMC
7. Nuggets- Mario Hezonja (pure scorer, athlete, as much potential as anyone in draft)
8. Pistons- Stanley Johnson (all-around wing the Pistons need)
9. Hornets-WCS (not a need, but he's BPA, and Big Al is FA next year. Let Biyombo walk)
10. Heat- Devin Booker (personally not a fan but Miami could use some shooting)
11. Pacers- Myles Turner (extremely high potential, can sit a year behind West/Hibbert)
12. Jazz- Trey Lyles (great scorer who will make impact off bench right away)
13. Suns- Frank Kaminsky (a winner who can be the floor-stretching big Phoenix needs)
14. Thunder- Cameron Payne (BPA at this point, who will back up Westy)
15. Hawks- Kelly Oubre (has great shooting, defensive potential, as well great athleticism)
16. Celtics- Sam Dekker (Boston needs shooting, and this kid is a winner)
17. Bucks- Bobby Portis (bucks lack low-post scoring, Portis gives them that)
18. Rockets-Jerian Grant (need help at the 1, and Grant is a stud at this point in the draft)
19. Wizards- RJ Hunter (I love this kid, and wiz need depth at SG)
20. Raptors- Kevin Looney (they lack talent at PF, and Looney has a very high ceiling)
21. Mavs- Tyus Jones (need help at PG, jones is smart, solid shooter who fits offense)
22. Bulls- Rashaud Vaughn (Bulls need scoring off bench, and they lack depth at SG)
23. Blazers- Montrezl Harrell (they need depth everywhere, and Harrell brings energy)
24. Cavs- Justin Anderson (wing who can defend and knock down shots off bench)
25. Grizzlies- Delon Wright (Upgrade backup PG with a very productive college player)
26. Spurs- RHJ (let popovich groom him offensively, but he's already a defensive stud)
27. Lakers- Anthony Brown (LA needs wing players, and Brown is a great shooter)
28. Celtics- Robert Upshaw (obvious issues but celts need rim protection)
29. Nets- Christian Wood (nets need young talent, and wood could be real good)
30. Warriors- Michael Frazier (add proven shooter off bench who would fit nicely)

WARRIORS WENT ALL THE WAY.
GS Offseason:
Trade nobody.
Sign Lebron (what a series) for vet min to get him another championship.
1.) 17 Jun 2015 10:15:40
congrats dude I hope next time you face a complete roster of OKC , LAC and SAS in the west and a much more complete line up of CLE or CHI in the east then let's start from there again but a very good team congrats! Iggy is awesome.
BTW, please don't insult LeBron, that's disrespectful I think.
2.) 19 Jun 2015 00:40:03
^definitely no disrespect for Lebron, he was a beast this series. And I think Warriors beat all those teams you mentioned even when healthy, they were simply the best all year
3.) 19 Jun 2015 13:45:00
okay dude good luck next season in your title defense

Preseason Playoff Predictions
East
1. Bulls
2. Cavs
3. Raptors
4. Heat
5. Wizards
6. Hornets
7. Knicks
8. Hawks
West
1. Spurs
2. Clippers
3. Thunder
4. Warriors
5. Trail Blazers
6. Mavericks
7. Grizzlies
8. Rockets
1.) Don't understand why everyone has the Bulls winning the east. They have no wings. Rose will not be an mvp candidate.
2.) Bulls are stacked with multi dimensional big men (noah, gasol, gibson, mirotic) they have shooters (mcdermott & dunleavy) they have athleticism (butler & snell) they have guard depth with experience (hinrich & brooks) but the fate of this team rest on Rose. If he can return to old form, I can't see anyone in the east that can beat them. The spurs are the real challenge.
3.) I have the bulls over the cavs because the Bulls have chemistry and defense, while the cavs have neither of those yet (new team, and lebron is the only defender in the starting lineup. )
4.) I think the Wizards have a better team than the Bulls
5.) ^maybe until beal got hurt.
6.) Because simply said, if Rose stays healthy (I'm quite convinced he will) they have the best big man combo in the East, excellent shooters, experience.
If Rose is stays healthy and he comes back to 80% of his potential they will easily win the east.
Note: Wizards with beal healthy would be 3.

Warriors say hell no. They just won the championship. They're 31-2. Barnes has easily been their 4th most valuable player, and the Warriors greatly missed his versatility when he was hurt. Noah is on the decline. McDermott isn't a bust, but he's not going to start at SF on a championship team. And the Warriors aren't going to start Iguodala so you want Brandon Rush to be the everyday starter? Bogut has played real well, as has Ezeli. Noah is barely an upgrade over either one of them, and he is DEFINITELY not worth trading Barnes for.
04 Nov 2015 15:12:08
Warriors say no. I like Melo and think people are undervaluing him but he doesn't really fit the Warriors offensive scheme with all the ball movement. Also this trade would screw up their depth. And the Warriors are currently flat-out destroying everyone. I'm not saying they'll keep this type of play up, but I definitely don't wanna mess with this team's roster at this point.
30 Oct 2015 19:43:09
Crowder is good but warriors say hell no.
17 Oct 2015 23:29:55
Why would the Warriors do that? Barnes is better than Otto Porter and Bogut fits them better than gortat.
16 Oct 2015 14:44:48
I like this trade for the Warriors, that starting five would dominate. I'm not sure Atlanta would do it though, even if Barnes does solve their wing problem. It's not going to happen though, as it's too close to the regular season to completely shake things up.

Scratch that lineup at the bottom I don't know why that's there
08 Aug 2015 03:57:20
Why would you take Wall for $16m over the reigning MVP for $11m? Also, Davis only makes $7m next year before his extension kicks in. And for $100m I'm pretty sure you could get a better team than that.
My starting 5 is.
Steph Curry ($11.3m)
James Harden ($15.5m)
Lebron James ($23m)
Anthony Davis ($7.7m)
Tim Duncan ($5.2m)
With a bench of.
Shaun Livingston ($5.3m)
Bradley Beal ($5.7m)
Giannis Antetokoumpo ($2m)
Nikola Mirotic ($5.5m)
Rudy Gobert ($1.1m)
Harrison Barnes ($3.9m)
Andre Drummond ($3.3m)
Jordan Clarkson ($1m)
Marreese Speights ($3.8m)
Ben McLemore ($3.2m)
Curry/Livingston/Clarkson
Harden/Beal/McLemore
James/Barnes/Antetokoumpo
Davis/Mirotic/Speights
Duncan/Drummond/Gobert
Curry/Livingston/Curry
Harden/Lee/
Ariza/Antetokoumpo
Davis/Mirotic
Duncan/Gobert
08 Aug 2015 02:56:34
Jazz and Suns are both better than Mavericks, Kings, and Lakers. Easy
02 Aug 2015 22:49:51
But I doubt the Warriors trade Barnes unless they get an upgrade at SF
23 Jul 2015 08:26:09
I could nitpick, but there is so much wrong with this I'm not going to
