-----Synopsis-------
Nuggets quickly kick-start their rebuild with their new coach. With a top heavy draft and three 1st round picks in the top seven, they can get 3 players for the future, building on top of Nurkic, Gallo, and Harris. Given a slew of picks this year, and since they are able to swap picks with the Knicks next year, they can afford the picks they are giving up. Nuggets salary would be $54.1mil in 2015/16 and $38mil in 2016/17 (including Barton).

Lakers don't have time to rebuild. While giving up Randle (who loves the Lakers) is hard, it is a no brainer if that is what it takes to get Cousins. With two free agent signings at open positions, the Lakers could be in the playoffs. Lakers salary would be $74.8mil in 2015/16 and $27.8mil in 2016/17 (including Rondo/Harris). That would leave them plenty of room to try to sign big FAs like Durant in 2016.

Sacramento doesn't necessarily want to trade Cousins, but the rift between him and Carl is beyond repair. As well, Carl wants to win now, and it is known he wants his old Nugg players. With this trade, the kings would have 9-10 rotation players who could excel in Karl's system. As well, they would obtain future first round picks. The kings could be a 50 win team under Karl when they run-and gun. Kings salary would be $64.7mil in 2015/16 and $52.4mil in 2016/17.

*Note, this trade works/is accepted because of the Nuggets taking on the bad contracts of Landry/J. Thompson

2.) 21 Jun 2015 09:45:05
I just don't see Orlando trading Boogie this year.

3.) 21 Jun 2015 16:59:47
Orlando doesn't have cousins. Sacrmento does and according to this rumor they aren't involved in the trade.

4.) 21 Jun 2015 20:26:57

Nuggets offseason plans:

Nuggets trade:Lawson/Chandler/Hickson/Clippers 2nd Round Pick/Portlands 2016 1st Round Pick
Sacramento trades: 6th pick/McLemore

then

Nuggets trade: Faried/Harris/Foye
Detroit trades: 8th pick/Dinwiddie

Offer Ellis max contract because Denver will rid themselves of Faried's/Lawson's big contracts and Ellis would fit play style and offer 3 point shooting. Also resign Will Barton.

Roster---
PG: Ellis/Dinwiddie/Nelson
SG: McLemore/Barton
SF: Winslow(6th)/Herzonja(7th)
PF: Gallo/Porzingis(8th)
Center: Nurkic/Lauvergne

Nuggets would be able to run easy, stretch the floor, and play fast.

Faried's contract is awful, Foye is an average player, and Harris has shown nothing.

Nuggets offseason plans:

1) Nuggets trade Lawson/Gary Harris/Memphis 2016 1st round pick to Jazz for Alex Burks/Dante Exum. Nuggs get rid of Lawson whom Jazz want, give Jazz an asset, and add Gary Harris as a sweetener to replace Burks).

2) Nuggets trade Faried/Chandler/Gallo to Pistons for a sign-and-trade deal for 8th pick/Spencer Dinwiddie. Jackson's contract around 3yrs/35mil. Even though the Nuggs said they want to build around Gallo, his contract is up after this year; same with Chandler's. They trade to get value out of them before they could leave and start their rebuild. Also they get rid of Faried's attitude/contract. Pistons do this to jump-start their rebuild, which they have been showing impatience in.

3) Nuggets trade Portland's 1st rounder/Erick Green to Thunder for Andre Roberson. Thunder have a plethora of SGs with Waiters, Lamb, Novak, and playing two PG sets. They get an asset and a third PG behind Augustin. Nuggets get a solid, hard working defender that would fit with Malone.

4) Nuggets trade JJ Hickson/57th pick to 76ers for 47th pick. Hickson is a poor defender and wouldn't fit in Malone's system--the Nuggets wouldn't want to pay $5mil for him for the season. The 76ers have 5 2nd round picks. They have tons of cap space, they could afford to move back and snag a veteran to help their young bigs in the process. It's a win-win.

5) Nuggets trade Foye/47th pick (from above) to Lakers for 27th pick. Lakers get an immediate contributer with a reasonable salary that expires after this year. Foye can play the 1 and the 2--the Lakers are in win now mode. Also, the 47th pick isn't garaunteed salary. Nuggets get another 1st round pick to help the rebuild.

6) Trade #7/#8 picks to Knicks for #4/Calderon. Knicks get two picks instead of one, which means more talent which they desperately need. Nuggets draft Porzingis for potential star power. Nurkic/Porzingis a promising Eastern Europe frontcourt for the future.

7) Sign cheap FAs: Chris Copeland for 3yrs/$10mil to add shooting. Sign Jason Smith as backup center for 2yrs/$7mil. Sign Louis Amundson for 2yrs/$5mil.

Pg: Exum/Dinwiddie
Sg: A. Burks/Aaron Harrison(#37)
Sf: Roberson/Copeland
Pf: Porzingis/Amundson
C: Nurkic/Jason Smith
