Poor Washington lmao.

2.) 07 Jan 2019 02:59:20
Looks like Parson is getting waived by Memphis. Wonder if its a waive and stretch.

3.) 07 Jan 2019 03:35:27
I think is wiz got Brooks in the deal might make it worth it. but I grew with Minnesota trading Wiggins. I love the kid but he needs a fresh start and a good coach to get him over the hump from tanleted. to just good or great. he would fit perfect with the Grizzlies.

Boston would never help out one of their main rivals line this. Lol.

2.) 19 Nov 2018 14:07:34
Pelicans would not value Simmons that high.

3.) 19 Nov 2018 15:21:21
Not one team would sign off on this, never mind think of this trade.

4.) 19 Nov 2018 15:53:45
I think the 76ers would actually do this based on their players involved, but when you consider Boston getting Davis, I think they back off. I don't think that's the group that Boston would be willing to move for Davis, and I really don't think that New Orleans is getting enough back. Simmons is a really good player, but he's limited. I don't think he would do as well in NO as the main guy as he does in Philly with all those weapons to distribute to.

5.) 19 Nov 2018 21:28:38
Simmons for AD? Man you're delusional AF.

Harden's foul baiting is kinda annoying but his step back 3 is just awesome.

curse

1.) 04 Jan 2019 18:24:36
possibly but if they keep calling it and you're successful from it why not keep doing it.

2.) 04 Jan 2019 18:54:28
I have no problem with Harden doing it, I have a problem with the NBA allowing it. Offensive flopping needs to be addressed.

Same with pulling a guy off the ground then jumping into him to draw a foul (that's an offensive foul, the offensive player is initiating contact! )

3.) 04 Jan 2019 19:15:08
What about pulling on the guys arm, pulling to the ground for rebounds? All sorts of hypocrisies with NBA officiating. I'm not sure I could stand to watch a properly officiated NBA game anymore. It would look so different.

What does it take to beat a healthy Warriors next season? Who has the chance? What possible moves to make for them?

For Celtics- i believe they are the top contender against warriors something they can do to have a better chance?
A healthy Irving and Hayward obviously is needed. I believe that Anthony Davis will not be available via trade but Kawhi and Jimmy Butler could be? Send out a package involving Brown, Rozier and some picks to add another superstar

For Rockets- they need their center back, they lose one of their best defenders so what would they need to stay in that Warriors level?

For Lakers- yes as of now, they are far from being a contender but wherever LeBron goes will find ways to be one of the top specially beating GS, what they need to do? It's obvious they are chasing Kawhi but it would not be enough because they might lose a ton of depth and their future could be in trouble. Will Capela help? Will a trade for Butler help? What help does Lebron need?

For Sixers- they are too young but have a chance if they add a superstar or two, again Kawhi or Jimmy

curse

1.) 04 Jul 2018 07:07:07
I say Celtics are the best shot. But they should keep their depth. I think it’d be one of their best assets against the warriors.

2.) 04 Jul 2018 20:04:47
Leonard is unlikely to go to celts for one season. Ainge wouldn't trade brown for one season.

3.) 06 Jul 2018 03:52:06
Say Houston and with healthy paul they would of won. DMC not going to be same and help them get more Tech's.

4.) 06 Jul 2018 07:26:13
Dmc out half the season maybe and he isn't much of a rim protector or perimeter defender. Jordan bell is probably going to play big minutes. I think bell was why mcgee was let go. Dmc can help if gsw plays his style.

03 Jul 2018 04:10:57
There is a team that can go head to head with the Warriors right now and that's Oklahoma City Lakers

G Westbrook/Rondo/Ball
G George/KCP/Roberson
F Ingram/Anthony/Stephenson
F James/Kuzma
C Adams/Noel/McGee

If you could build a realistic team to take down the Warriors without LBJ, what would be yours? mine is

PG: Irving-Beverley
SG: Mitchell-L.Williams
SF: Leonard-J.Brown
PF: Morris-Booker
CE: Davis-D.Dedmon

curse

1.) 18 Jun 2018 13:31:14
PG: Holiday/ Rozier
SG: Oladipo/ L Williams
SF:Ariza/ Bullock
PF: Porzingis/ Booker
C:M Turner/ Sabonis.

2.) 18 Jun 2018 16:13:24
Simmons/ McConnell
George/ Reddick
Covington/ TLC
Leonard/ Illyasova
Embiid/ Holmes

No one can guard Embiid on the Warriors, that team would have an elite offense, and the defensive of that starting lineup would be insane.

3.) 18 Jun 2018 16:46:59
Simmons elite offense? He can't shoot. Maybe someday but that is the main reason sixers lost in the second round. George and Leonard wouldn't be enough firepower either. Defensively a great line up. Draymond Green is good enough to hold embid under 20 pts consistently in a series. Swap out simmons and Covington for lbj, and Irving or Chris paul and it looks competitive.

4.) 18 Jun 2018 17:01:35
Simmons just averaged 16 and 8 as a rookie. He's an elite finisher, passer and gets wherever he wants on the court. He's a great offensive player. Kawhi, George, and Embiid are all great scorers. As for Green, he can't handle Embiid. The only place Green struggles on D is against guys like Embiid. He can't handle their size.

5.) 18 Jun 2018 17:29:27
i was referring to playoffs not the season. Simmons poor shooting was highlighted, he ran the wrong plays on multiple occasions, Reddick barked at him for it and bailed him out with superb shooting a few times, simmons knocked embid down on another wrong play miscommunication. Watch the celts series. He has talent but he isn't gsw defeating for a couple seasons yet. blazers were 3rd in the west, 6th in defense and got swept while allowing 108+ in that series. Season #'s offer little insight. Watch Green play. There will be no need for Green on Saric. He will focus on embid. Durant will play Saric, and is also capable of defending embid decently. Then can throw McGee, bell and looney at him. Need simmons shooting 3 ball against a gsw team. If cavs getting swept didn't highlight the massive separation between gsw and the rest of the league I don't know what will.

6.) 18 Jun 2018 18:44:21
The Cavs were swept because they had little scoring outside of Lebron and Love and their defense was horrible.

Portlands defense was smoke and mirrors. They have 2 guards that they need to hide and Nurkic wasn't athletic enough to deal with Davis. It was never going to be a good playoff defense. The defense Philly could put together would be like a perfected version of what the Rockets were doing and they gave the Warriors fits.

As for Simmons, you were watching him in his first playoffs and he was actually pretty good. They played a close series against a good team. He's going to be better next year and you're giving him 2 players that can carry an offense. He won't have to be a scorer. He can be a distributor.

In this scenario, Saric is gone and it doesn't matter if he focuses on Embiid. He can't do much with him. Plus, Embiid is going to hold his attention letting the perimeter players attack without having to deal with Green being able to help as much. It's going to be hard to even play McGee significant minutes in a playoff series where Philly is going small. I'm not saying that team definetly beats the Warriors, but they would need to play at the top of their ability and get hot to win a series with them.

7.) 18 Jun 2018 19:30:29
5 games to 1 was a close series? Your super team has Leonard playing out of position, and might as well be the sixers as is. How do you know simmons will shoot the 3 next season? I am not sold on Leonard or George carrying anything. Neither has done it yet or had to. Draymond green can't defend embid well or better yet the gsw will have no answer for him? I am not following your ideas's or accumen on basketball strategy. It just looks like your throwing out ridiculous reasons to make a case. Sometimes we are wrong and those with character admit it.

8.) 18 Jun 2018 20:29:17
Leonard has been a finals MVP, top 3 in MVP voting, and was the best player on a championship team. How has he not proven it? George has been the best player on teams that reached the conference finals.

I never said that Simmons would beable to shoot the 3 next year, but he's going to be surrounded by shooters and he'll be the 3rd or 4th best player on that team.

It was a close series. 3 of Boston's wins were by 5 or less points. It wasn't like they were destroying Philly.

Who cares what position you're listing Kawhi at. All 4 of those guys can guard 1 through 4 pretty easily. Teams are going to struggle much more trying to guard Those perimeter players with a traditional big than Philly will trying to handle a big with their line up. Look at the better teams in the playoffs. Boston, Cleveland (or wherever Lebron goes), Houston, and GS all will be playing predominantly small ball 4s.

As for my logic about the Warriors rotation, go look back at the Houston series. How much did McGee play?

AS for Draymond, look at what Aldridge and Davis did against him. They both had great individual series with him being their primary defender. He struggles with bigger post players. He to small to affect them. He's giving up 6 inches and 70 pounds to a guy like Embiid.

9.) 18 Jun 2018 21:03:24
Irving
Brown
Leonard
George
Davis
Rozier 6th man

Heyward and boston 1st for Leonard. I understand they just signed him but it's for the better player.

Trade horford and tatum plus sac pick for Davis.

George opts in and they get smart bird rights, Morris and a first for George.

10.) 18 Jun 2018 21:38:20
@ rkenne16 Gsw isn't good now because cavs have this problem or that, yet the cavs beat the team that beat the team that 8 of your 10 super team players are from? Get out of here dude you make zero sense.

11.) 18 Jun 2018 23:00:18
When did I say GS isn't good? They're amazing.

Will Durant make a comeback in OKC? What would it take for the Thunder to have him back?

curse

1.) 09 May 2018 10:20:39
Trade Westbrook for a great passing pointguard.

2.) 10 May 2018 01:56:06
I agree with Gauspo's comment in that Westbrook is not a "great passing point guard. " His stats are inflated because of his high usage rate. He doesn't actually create great opportunities for his teammates. I just find the comment ironic because Westbrook led the league in assists.

3.) 10 May 2018 16:35:31
Thunder will never stop paying for harden mistake unless they tear it down to the ground.
