MIN-TOR-DAL-DET-ORL

MIN gets:

- DeMar DeRozan
- Wesley Matthews
- Reggie Jackson

TOR gets:

- Andrew Wiggins
- Gorgui Dieng
- MIN 2018 1st round pick (#20)
- Pistons 2nd round pick (#43)

DAL gets:

- Cole Aldrich
- Jon Leuer
- MIN 2019 1st round pick (Top 10 protected)
- Jonathan Simmons
- D. J. Augustin

DET gets:

- Kyle Lowry

ORL gets:

- Jeff Teague

MIN does this because.

- they get the best player in the trade. DeRozan and Butler automatically become one of the best wing duos in the league. Reggie Jackson is a solid point guard - hust like Jeff Teague. Plus, Wesley Matthews is a good veteran and solid back up wing. Also, getting rid of Andrew Wiggins, who was causing problems with Jimmy Butler and Thibs, will be nice as well.

PG: R. Jackson-D. Rose-T. Jones
SG: J. Butler-W. Matthews
SF: D. DeRozan-FA
PF: T. Gibson-FA
C: K. Anthony-Towns-J. Patton

TOR does this because.

- they are officially in rebuild mode. Getting swept by the LeBron's - I mean Cavs - should make it obvious that it is ime to rebuild. They should get rid of Kyle Lowry before he is considered a bad contract. While losing their franchise player, DeMar DeRozan, will hurt, TOR does get two picks and Andrew Wiggins - who still has a lot of potential.

Potential Starting lineup:

To be decided. with more trades

DAL does this because.

- they gain a pick. While they do pick up a bunch of expensive contracts, a pick for the tanking Mavericks should always make Mark Cuban happy.

Potential Starting lineup:

It does not matter

DET does this because.

- they have to go all in. Now with Blake Griffin's contract, the Pistons have to invest all they have in the present. Adding Kyle Lowry gives the Pistons another star and another shot at making it to the playoffs.

PG: K. Lowry-Ish Smith
SG: L. Kennard-L. Galloway
SF:S. Johnson-R. Bullock
PF:B. Griffin-H. Ellenson
C: A. Drummond-FA

ORL does this because.

- they actually have a point guard who can run an offense. Since Jameer Nelson, the Magic have never had decent point guard play. With Jeff Teague, Steve Clifford gets a veteran to run his offense.

Minnesota says no.

2.) 10 Jun 2018 16:04:06
Toronto trades two all stars for a younger more expensive worse version of derozan, a average big ( they don't need) and two weak picks?

3.) 10 Jun 2018 20:16:25
The Pistons trade two bad contracts and get Lowry?

4.) 10 Jun 2018 22:19:13
why would minnesota say no?

5.) 11 Jun 2018 02:12:05
swapping wiggins for derozan does do anything to make KAT happier about his role on offense, he should be their first priority.

6.) 11 Jun 2018 14:53:59
Raptors say no. They give up two allstars for a weak/ expensive shooter, back up center ( which they font need) and a low pick?

7.) 11 Jun 2018 18:50:17
Toronto is not giving up Derozan for that, especially when you throw in Lowry. Both those guys have reasonable contracts, they can do better. I will agree that they might explore rebuild mode, but will wait on what Lebron does. If he leaves the East, they stay in tact. Also, like how you stated the mavericks line-up. funny.

5 team mega trade (Trade Machine Dream)

CHA-MIN-SAS-DEN-MIL

CHA recieves:

- Gorgui Dieng
- Anthony Brown
- Jamal Murray
- Juan Hernangomez
- Dejounte Murray
- 2019 MIN (via OKC) 1st round draft pick

CHA sends:

- Kemba Walker
- Malik Monk
- Julyan Stone
- Dwayne Bacon

MIN recieves:

- Kawhi Leonard
- Kenneth Faried
- Kemba Walker
- Matthew Dellavedova
- Sterling Brown

MIN sends:

- Gorgui Dieng
- Anthony Brown
- 2019 1st round pick
- Andrew Wiggins
- Justin Patton
- Tyus Jones
- Jeff Teague
- 2019 2nd round pick (via MIA)
- 2020 2nd round pick

SAS recieves:

- Andrew Wiggins
- Trey Lyles
- Justin Patton
- Tyus Jones
- 2019 MIN 2nd round pick (via MIA)
- 2020 MIN 2nd round pick

SAS sends:

- Kawhi Leonard
- Dejounte Murray
- Patty Mills
- 2018 2nd round pick

DEN recieves:

- Jeff Teague
- Malik Monk
- Julyan Stone
- Dwayne Bacon
- 2018 SAS 2nd round pick

DEN sends:

- Jamal Murray
- Juan Hernangomez
- Kenneth Faried
- Trey Lyles

MIL recieves:

- Patty Mills

MIL sends:

- Matthew Dellevedova
- Sterling Brown

Why I think this trade works.

Hornets - I think this trade will get the hornets rebuild off to a fantastic start.

Adding Jamal Murray will give Mitch Kupchak a young building block to build around.

Dejounte Murray and Juan Hernangomez will also be nice young pieces for the now rebuilding hornets

While having to absorb the bad contract of Gorgui Dieng will hurt, the young array of talent they recieve plus the 1st round pick will make it worth the Hornet's while.

T'Wolves - This officially places the Wolves in contention for an NBA championship.

Kawhi Leonard and Jimmy Butler will be the best wing duo in the NBA.

Kemba Walker also gives the Wolves more stability at Point Guard.

While taking in Kenneth Faried and Matthew Dellevadova's bad contracts will hurt, they are defensive minded and hustle players who will have roles in Thib's system.

Spurs - A nice and short rebuild

While giving up Kawhi will hurt, there were rumors about him leaving anyway after his contract.

If Poppovich can make Kawhi a star (a player coming out of college who was seen as a defensive player and very limited offensively), imagine what he could make Andrew Wiggins (a player who was the #1 pick and has superstar potential)

Also, Trey Lyles, Justin Patton, and Tyus Jones are young pieces who can be apart of SAS's future

Nuggets - This completes the picture

- Receiving Jeff Teague may finally complete the picture. Even though Jamal Murray has more potential, Jeff Teague is a true point guard, and he will be able to conduct the offense more efficiently.

Also, Malik Monk is still an interesting prospect. CHA used him wrong and he fell out of the good graces of Steve Clifford. Maybe Mike Malone can unlock his potential and Monk can become the replacement for the current free agent Will Barton or become a key contributor off the bench.

Bucks - Improving the bench for a small price

This trade is a steal for the Bucks in my opinion. While Mills may be a little overpaid, he will surely be an upgrade over Matthew Dellevadova. Also, Mills is capable of running an offense (Ex: The Spurs system), so he could be slotted in the starting Point Guard role or backup Malcolm Brogdon.

Acquiring Mills also relieves the pressure for Milwaukee to re-sign Eric Bledsoe, who, in my opinion, was seen as a failure in his time in Milwaukee.

Good effort but it won't happen.

2.) 10 May 2018 00:30:34
This is basically one year try for Minnesota. Both Butler and Kawhi are likely to opt out and Walker will be a FA after the year.

3.) 10 May 2018 00:32:28
Twolves receive the two best players in the entire mega deal. They get way too much in this deal.

4.) 10 May 2018 01:04:59
I wrote believable bc your wrote so much it has to happen.

5.) 10 May 2018 01:11:06
@ jtubbs33, Just a fyi. Milwaukee has a PG backup in B Jennings, Plus why would they want to move Brown? he has played well enough to stay. I wouldn't call the trade a steal for Milwaukee, rather a Why? If the Bucks want a PG, there are others to consider who are better than P. Mills. As far as Bledsoe a failure, 18.6 PPG, 4.3 RPG, and 6.3 APG isn't exactly a failure. Its his first year with Milwaukee, Why not at the very least, Give Bledsoe a full year, Then go from there? Like Dellavedova, Mills is overpaid, But, Dellavedova is a better defender than Mills, without a doubt! The Bucks currently have 10 guards, No really big need to move any of them, Unless its for a Big, Rebounding, Center!

6.) 10 May 2018 02:03:41
I think kawhi (and dejounte murrary) are worth more than that even considering kawhi's contract length and his seemingly desire to switch teams. Also, if I was the nuggets, I'd pass on this too. Murray > Teague.

How the Bulls become elite again

-Fire Hoiberg and bring Thibs back!
- Thibs brought the best out of all his players and Hoiberg's "magic offense" is worse than Thib's

-Draft Diamond Stone (1st) and Gary Payton II (2nd)
- Noah is a backup center now and I think we should resign him for 4-7 million per year and Stone would be a perfect replacement. AB is a free agent and E'Twaun is best at the SG; with D Rose's injury history GP2 would be a perfect replacement.

Free Agency

1.-Go all out for Bradley Beal/ (maybe Harrison Barnes)
2.- If we don't get Bradley then go for a cheaper alternative Luol Deng or Kent Bazemore

Other Offseason Moves:

- If we don't get any wings through free agency or the draft then trade Doug Mcdermott+Nikola Mirotic to Kings for Rudy Gay
-Bulls get deadly wing duo with Butler+Gay and Kings get the stretch floor that they have always needed so Boogie can operate and young, talented wing.

Bulls Potential Starting Lineups

D Rose-GP2
Butler-Holiday
Deng-McDermott
Pau-Gibson-Portis-Nikola-Felcio
Diamond-Noah-Bairstow

or

D Rose-GP2
Beal-Holiday
Butler-McDermott
Pau-Gibson-Portis-Nikola-Felcio
Diamond-Noah-Bairstow

or

D Rose-GP2
Butler-Holiday
Gay-FA
Pau-Gibson-Portis-Felcio
Diamond-Noah

- These lineups will give the Bulls elite, athletic, defensive wings and a stable, reliable big men.

Pistons offseason

Sign Draymond Green - max

Sign Jonas Jerberko, Luis Scola, and Robert Sacre

Re-sign Tayshaun Prince

Draft Montrelz Harrell

Let Reggie Jackson and Greg Monroe walk.

Starting 5
Pg- Jennings
Sg- KCP
Sf- Green
Pf- Harrell
C- Drummond

Bench:
Jerberko
Dinwiddie
Butler
Prince
Scola
Sacre

- Do this because this will instantly make the Pistons one of the top defenses in the league. Green, Harrell, and Drummond will scare tons of teams. Jackson has not been cutting it for the Pistons, shooting 28% from 3 will not cut it, and Greg Monroe will probably walk. The bench will also be good with some young talent and a lot of quality veterans.

jtubbs33

1.) They better win games 62-59 cause that offense would struggle bigtime

Although the pick is at #26, why would the sixers give away a pick for Kyle Collinsworth. Collinsworth has no value what so ever.

While I do think the Bulls say no to this proposed trade, (I think they would rather have MPJ than Chriss and Bender), I do agree in that the Suns should trade up and look to draft Trae Young. Also, I think signing Aaron Gordon would be a better move than signing Julius Randle, Marcus Smart, and Danny Green.

If the Mavs gave another 1st round pick (probably protected top 10) I think the Suns would consider.

But I also think the Suns could package some of their other assets (B. Knight, M. Chriss, D. Bender, and T. Ulis) to get another top 10 pick. Then they could draft Young, Ayton, and still sign Aaron Gordon.
