As a sixers fan I won't do it. Hinkie loves noel and everyone in Philly likes him. Sixers take a deep breath and say no. But its not a bad trade but sixers r better off keepin noel.

Neither side does it. Knicks would be better off with Towns or Okafor. And like stated above, Philly loves Noel

I like Noel and Simms. And I don't want Calderon. He's 33. Sixers can get that veteran PG very easily in free agency. No reason to trade for him- especially since he'll be long retired by the time the Sixers mature and there's no reason to disrupt the front court for a different front court player.
If anything, I see the Sixers staying right where they are with the top pick and maybe combining OKC pick and Miami pick to sneak up into the 10 range.

It's not a Terrible deal. But Sixers don't need calderoons bad contract. In my opinion noel has more upside then okafor or towns at this point. Okafor has no lil defensive skills and a huge lack of athletism. Towns is athletic to a point but doenst have a consistent jump shot and lack a ton of polish on both ends of the floor. That's why they can single cover him and shut him down most of the time.
So why should I have to take a bad contract to get a slight less quality player??

Noel is still young and has gotten a lot bigger with muscle since he started. I have seen him right in front of me when I went to the sixers kings game when we won. he's fine the way he is for right now.

You seem to think Calderon is an asset. He's not. You take a 33 year old PG that comes with a contract worth $7mil next year and $7mil the year after.
You can have Mo Williams or Jeremy Lin for way less than that and they're unrestricted free agents.

Why does everyone think sixers want calderon. He blows. Just stop it.
