Minnesota doesn't get nearly enough.

Sixers say NO.

There's more to trading than just matching assets up. The Sixers and the fan base really like Noel. If they trade him, the fans that have been patient for two years will completely turn on the franchise.

In addition, Noel completely fits the Sixers' culture. That's very important here.

I'm from Philly, what culture? The culture built over the better part of the past decade is endless losing. Including this year. So what culture does Noel fit? He isn't a fixture in the city. Actually never seen around here.

Ugh. As a Sixers fan is consider that deal for Noel and wroten. We'd draft towns most likely and Russell to play the two. That trade for us is basically trading one starter for two starters hopefully. I still have my doubt on Lavine but if he is a good as some think he is then I'd do this trade.

Really tough to lose Noel. Noel looks like a absolute freak on defense and he would definately win us game just from playing defense alone.

Tre: its a fairly simple trade. Its two starters for two starters

Noel for Towns
LaVine for Wroten

Sixers have two years invested in Noel. We have Noel and Embiid hanging and building a relationship for a year. We've put Noel and Embiid in front of Saric to build that relationship. We have Noel as as a fan favorite. Why would we trade back down the learning curve for Towns?

Sixers have tons of draft picks to find that guard combination they want. I'll go with Wroten and Russell this year, knowing I have a ton of picks in the bank.

But I don't think the Sixers should trade parts just to trade parts.

Phillyrich.

Well wroten isn't a starter on a good team. A sixth man I think for sure. He's got a lot of work to do on the shot and passing consistently for me to considered him a started.

For me it's Noel for towns. And I think Noel is better then towns.

Lavine over wroten. Which seems like a wash to me. Both young athletic guys who have a ways to go before their great

Sixers would only do this if they believe wroten can't improve and Lavine can.
If not I'd keep Noel who might be better then all the bigs in this draft anyway.

philly rich. you have 2 years invested in Noel. Know what that means? Two less years of a rookie contract. You have the option of Towns, who already has a more mature offensive game than noel. Blatantly refusing it because the relationship built with Saric? he's overseas and coming when he decides, not becuase his buddy is on the team who he met once or twice. Embiid is his friend? Maybe that's a bad thing seeing as he takes the sport as a joke.

TreGib at least understands the value of these players. You just see all of the sixers players as studs and future mvps. its just nonsense

I LOVE LaVine, but i'm not trading Noel in a package to get him. Let Minn draft towns, then send Wroten and Miamis#1 for LaVine.

I don't see either team making this trade.

Pizza I do not see all the Sixers as studs. They have some pieces. Noel is a piece. Embiid might be a piece. Wroten probably is a 6th man. Covington can shoot. Saric is potential. Grant has hope.

Not a single one of these guys is a sure thing. But you have to start somewhere. You have to draw the line somewhere. I"m not just moving 22 year old pieces pieces to move pieces. I'm keeping Noel, Embiid, Covington, and Wroten and using my picks to build with them.

Almost every Sixers trade on this board attempts to get Noel, Embiid or Wroten. These guys aren't Moses Malone and Andrew Toney, but they don't suck either. If they did, nobody would want to trade for them. See any trades for Ish Smith or Jakarr Sampson? No.

The Sixers don't need to trade these guys. They don't need to destroy to build. They have tons of 1st rounders to add to those guys without having to trade those guys.

Just allow the Sixers to draft their back court and grow. What's wrong with that strategy? Why tear it up?
