76ers / OKC
76ers / Nuggets

Now that the lottery is over, and Minn and LA will almost definitely pick Okafor and Towns, that leaves the sixers in a perfect spot at #3 to pick Russell. Now i'm sure Hinkie isn't going to stand pat and just pick Russell. Possible moves.

1. Sixers trade next years okc pick and pick #35 and #47 for this years OKC pick(#14) and take back Novaks $4mill in salary.
2. Sixers trade next years LA #1 pick(only 1-3 protected. And La getting the #2 pick this year, they will pick towns and build around him, randle, and Clarkson. this is good for 2-3 years down the road, but two first year big men doesn't lead to many wins. pick should be in the 4-10 range.)and the #14 pick they got from okc plus the #37 pick for Denvers #7 pick. Sixers pick hezonja at #7.
That leaves sixers with their own #1 next year, Heats #1 next year, and Dario Saric coming over.
PG: Russell
SG: Hezonja
SF: Covington/Grant(Saric next year)
PF: Noel
C: Embiid

I'd be wiling to bet LAL don't take Okafor. If Towns goes #1 (as expected), I think the LAL will take either D Russel or J Winslow.

On top. You think the two pick. Randle healthy. Kobe heathy and 25-30 mill in cap space will create no improvement? The pick will be in the high teens. Good luck convincing teams that that pick plus 2 seconds should equal the 7th lol

jvoug - I like this. Hinkie will surely do something on draft night. NLD - that would suit the Sixers just fine. If Russell goes #2, there would be multiple suitors willing to trade up to #3 for Okafor.

Pizza pie. which TWO of these teams are the Lakers going to finish ahead of in the west to make this pick a non-lotteey selection: warriors, rockets, mavs, clips, okc, griz, pels, Portland, or spurs?? Just wondering how you think??

Jvoug:
Let's wait and see how free agency shakes out. Depending on who the Lakers add, and what free agents leave their current teams, there's a possibility they finish ahead of the Mavericks, Grizzlies (if Gasol leaves), Pelicans, & Portland (if Aldridge leaves).

New lakers dynasty

Even with Randel and okafor. Bigs take time to get good. Kobe has to learn to not be a ball hog anymore. And frankly they need to get lucky in free agency. That's how the lakers get out of the top ten next season.

So all those teams will loose key players, replace them with nobody, Lakers will sign multiple quality free agents, and all will gel together to be a 6 or 7 seed in the west?? Give me some of what your smokinn. please
