Miami has zero picks in next years draft. there #1 goes to philly and there #2 goes to Boston. Miami is also at guaranteed 70 million in cap Before resigning Dragic. That probably puts them in the 87 million range guaranteed next year. Sixers would love to get Heats #10 pick this year.
76ers Trade miamis #1 next year and OKC's #1 next year.
Miami trades #10 pick this year plus chalmers and Birdman($9.4 million in total salary dump).
Heat get two #1 picks next year(when they currently have no picks at all) and free up $11.4 million($5mill for birdman, $4.4 mill for chalmers, and $2mill from there #1 pick this year). Sixers cut birdman and possibly chalmers, and pick hezonja, kaminsky, porzingis, johnson, or oubre, whichever falls and is the BPA.

It's reasonable, but Heat may feel they need the infusion of talent now instead of next year. Both the Heat and the Thunder should be better next year, so those picks are more likely to be 15th through 25th instead of 10th.

Sixers really want another pick in this draft. I think ideally they'd want Russell and Grant from ND.
I just don't think a team will completely take themselves out of this year's draft. A more likely scenario would be for the Sixers to acquire Gerald Wallace and the #16 pick from Boston. Sixers will have to give something back to the Celts for that.
THen use that #16 pick to swap with the Heat at #10.
THere's obviously missing parts to my concept but that would leave the Heat in this draft while still getting to #10 for the Sixers.

Good trade. Heat should say yes on that salary dump/ getting more total picks. Even if they are next year. Sixers would probably keep charmers and cut bird man.

Very interesting. If they can get both 3 and 10, how about Russell and Devin Booker?
