The Lakers have a real problem. Their roster as currently constructed for 2016 is really awful. And they don't control their own 1st round pick next year. So I'm not sure they can afford to take on Gerald Wallace's contract even to get that pick.
The Cap is probably going to be $77m. The Lakers are over $48m now for next year. Adding Wallace will put them close to $59m. Add in your two draft picks and they're probably at $64m.
That would restrict the Lakers to maybe one big deal this year.
Finally, Mitch Kupchak lambasted the Sixers strategy of trading cap space for picks. So I don't think he'll do this. He's much more likely to try to sign 1-2 big dollar free agents instead.

The C's would be taking on an extra 5 mil and dropping down 11 picks for a big big man for the year. Hibbert wouldn't fit into Stevens type of game. The 16th pick is more valuable to Boston and Wallace can add a spark now and then when used. Boston says NO!
