the Celtics would like to move up to get near the top so they could draft someone like mudiay or stein or winslow

well rumors are going around that the knicks are listening to offers, but the pistons also could listen which brings me to a possible 3 team deal

PISTONS TRADE

PISTONS GETS:
2015 1ST ROUND (16) (BOS)
2015 2ND ROUND (45) (BOS)
PF JERAD SULLINGER (BOS)
SG TIM HARDAWAY JR (NYK)

CELTICS GETS:
2015 1ST ROUND (4) (NYK)
2015 2ND ROUND (38) (DET)
PG BRANDON JENNINGS (DET)

KNICKS GETS:
PF GREG MONROE (S&T) (DET)
2015 1ST ROUND (28) (BOS)
PG ISAIAH THOMAS (BOS)

PISTONS =
they do this cause Monroe is rumored to go to the knicks and they still could swing a sign and trade (has happened a few times in the past few years) and get something out of it and they get hardaway jr who would be playing for his dad (who is a coach on the pistons, sullinger who can help right away and 2 draft picks while keeping the 8th pick

CELTICS =
move up in the draft to get a player theyd like to get (like mudiay, Russell or stein) and by getting Jennings and still having olynyk, theyd choose winslow instead and get some C depth at 35 like Robert Upshaw (if he drops to 35)

KNICKS =
they only trade the 4th pick and hardaway jr to get Monroe, Thomas and the 28th pick which I think is a good trade off. they get Thomas to help at PG since calderon may not be 100% of his old self with his recent injuries (they could waive him) and he'd be playing in the same arena as his dad is coaching (I think its the liberty that his dad is coaching in the NBA) and they get Monroe who would instantly improve the PF/C position and they drop 24 spots to still get a player who can contribute (perhaps one of the Harrison twins)

PISTONS DRAFT

(8)WISCONSIN. C. FRANK KAMINSKY
(16)WISCONSIN. SF.SAM DEKKER
(45)ARIZONA. PG.TJ MCCONNELL

kaminsky can play alongside Drummond and form a good duo, kaminsky is like Monroe in a way cause of his size, athletic ability and the fact they both can shot from anywhere, dekker can come to the pros with a college teammate and have good chemistry and could shot 3's and McConnell could be the 3rd PG on the roster and maybe even the 2nd if he beats out Dinwiddie as the backup
============================================
PISTONS FREE AGENCY:
- PG REGGIE JACKSON (STARTER) (*)
5 years $60,000,000
($15,000,000 team option for 6th year)

- SG GLENN ROBINSON III (BACKUP)
2 years $3,000,000
($2,000,000 team option for 3rd year)
(2nd year partially guaranteed)

- PF KEVIN LOVE(STARTER)
5 years max deal

- C JOEL ANTHONY (BACKUP) (*)
1 year $2,000,000
($3,000,000 team option for 2nd year)

PG: JACKSON - DINWIDDIE - MCCONNELL
SG: POPE - MEEKS - ROBINSON III
SF: DEKKER - HARDAWAY JR - MARTIN
PF: LOVE - SULLINGER - TOLLIVER
C: DRUMMOND - KAMINSKY - ANTHONY

the pistons would be title contenders with this team with a great bench and having a 3 point shooter like dekker and love would help or if they want defense at PF then Aldridge would be the choice. pope is starting to become a good SG. with this team, Drummond could fight for the spot as the best CENTER in the game and I know love and Aldridge wants to play for a contender but with this team, it will be a contender and having guys like diwiddie, meeks, hardaway jr, sullinger and kaminsky being backups on this team, this would be killer (kaminsky could be slotted in as a starter hear and there if the pistons want to play a big lineup with love at SF or kaminsky AND this would mean that caron butler is gone as his option won't be excercised
===========================================
THIS IS a lot TO READ (SORRY) BUT I WANT MY PISTONS TO RELIVANT AGAIN AND GETTING GUYS LIKE LOVE, DRAFTING SMART AND TRADING A GUY (MONROE) IN A SIGN AND TRADE WOULD HELP THE PISTONS GET MUCH NEEDED PIECES TO GET THEM BACK IN THE PLAYOFFS AND I BELIEVE THE TRADE I HAVE IS VERY FAIR FOR ALL 3 TEAMS

Can't sign and trade before draft.

28 May 2015 12:40:59
Actually, I saw that the Celtics want to move up too, but to go after Willie Cauley Stein and their target was Sacramento.

Knicks flat out hang up. Seeing as they will most likely sign Monroe straight up. They are giving the fourth pick for Thomas and the 28? Absolutely not. Sorry.

28 May 2015 12:54:28
Oh. Knicks also give up hardaway. Possible to get the 28 for just him. So really the 4 for Thomas? This trade is oddly upsetting lol

As a Pistons fan I say no. First off Hardaway Jr. is not going anywhere at this time he fits their offense. Second Love is not going to sign with the Pistons he will either resign with the Cavs or go back home to LA. Glenn Robinson I don't beleive stayed in the NBA last year I think he got waived and was in the NBDL so he is not someone that is going to make this team better. At the 8th pick the Tank is probably fourth on their list behind at least three SF and one big European. Dekker is not worth the 8th pick I don't think but he is not far off. I think they would take Dekker before they take the Tank, because he is versatile and can dribble drive as well as stretch the floor. They don't need another PG they have at least three if Jennings is still on the team. The second round is for a big to add depth or stash away for a year or two. I don't see how your trades make any sense for any of the teams and you can't do a S&T before the draft.

There are no 6 year contracts.
Also, love can't for 5 years unless he resigns with his current team.
