I'm not trying to make a point for Young, he's a bonehead. But he's owed $5.2M next year and is under contract for 2 years after that (total of 3 yrs $16.3M). That's not a horrible contract, especially with the cap increasing over the next 3 seasons. He will make an average of $5.44M over the next 3 years, that's less than the MLE ($5.6M this next seasson).
You're exaggerating what he's owed.
You tell me a better offer a team can make the Kings this summer? Not a "this works on NBA trade machine", but a legit one that both teams would actually be interested in?
