Friends, Rondo is a Mavericks till 30.06. so Mavs can trade him e.g. on the draft day!
Suns understand, Knight, Bledsoe do not work well. But Suns like a dynamic backcourt. Bledsoe, Ellis could be the most athletic backcourt in the league and Support the Suns fast smallplay.

Suns get a scorer in the backcourt and have two first round picks to get a 3&D SF and another big PF or C, e.g. Hollis-Jefferson and Turner or Kaminsky, they receive THREE possible Starters! In Addition they move some salary away by Granger and Bullock.
Kings get CAP, they have less minutes on the both and Felton is a good backup for Collison, they can use their picks for SG/PF or trade Collision by drafting a PF
Assumed neither Aldridge nor Matthews are interested to re-sign Portland get a good big to pair with Leonard, moving McCollum and receiving Stauskas and are able to resign Aflalo, so they have still a good team to go Forward. Rondo is only to a filler (P.S. he is a MAVS PLAYER till 30.06. so Mavs can trade him at draft day!)
Mavs get what they need, with a bit luck and if the other agree to such a trade.

So the mavs give up a late first round pick a 2nd round pick, a player who might not come back and a player who for sure will not comeback and in return they receive arguably the best pf in the league, a good young pg, a good 3&D sg and role players. Dream on mavs fan.

Rondo is a free agent, his contract, as well as Aldridge and Matthews, are over. You can't trade them. Also, even if they could, no one would be dumb enough to deal away assets for a player that can just walk away the next day. If you want Aldridge and Matthews, you will have to figure out a way to get under the cap without Portlands help, cause it just wouldn't happen.
Also, Portland gets completely screwed in this deal. I'd take McCollum over stauskas, and Thompson is terrible. I'd much rather let Aldridge and Matthews walk for nothing than do this deal.

Agree, if Portland is able to Re-sign Aldridge or Matthews, they will not agree, as mentioned.
But if the both will not Re-sing Portland gets back something instaed of nothing.
So it depends on the Player decisions - that it. And we stupid Mac Fans Thing, bot, Matthews ans Aldridge would be willig to sign at Dallas.

D_drainer, why would Portland trade Aldridge and Matthews before they can even attempt to resign them? Until Aldridge says "I'm leaving, period, I just signed with someone else", Portland wouldn't give up on him, so there's 0 chance whatsoever period, end of discussion this could happen. Period. Done.
And at the same time, Dallas would be stupid to give up anything for two guys that can just bolt literally the next day?
And third, Portland just gets screwed. McCollum alone is worth more than Portland is getting. Unless Portland gets a load of picks similar to what Boston got from NJ, there's no way this would happen.
