If New York cannot acquire a DeAndre Jordan type player, they should.
Trade Jose Calderon to Indiana for Roy Hibbert
Trade a future second round pick for David Lee and a future first round pick.
For New York,you get two players on one year deals while acquiring draft pick and freeing yourself of Jose Calderons contract.
Next season, when the cap rises, you go after the big names with LOADS of cash. This team with Lee and hibbert will not be relevant this season, but without a pick, rather than spending it on guys that will only grab you the 7th seed anyways, play out this year
